Gundam 0083 General Discussion...

Here's a thread to discuss the various points of Gundam 0083, one of my personal favorite Gundam series (I've already seen the series unedited). The GP02A Physalis and the Stamen+Orchis happens also to be two of my favorite mech designs...
As for the editing, looks like CN is getting a little better over time.
I could probably answer any questions you have, since I'm sort of a UC guru.

Is the Zabai family involve in Gundam 0083?

Why are the Zeons called Duchy of Zeon instead of the Principality of Zeon in Gundam 0083?

I beleive one of the results of the 1 year war is that the Zeon got more independence for themselves. So they're ruled more loosely then the other Sides, so that's why they're called the Dutchy of Zeon instead of the Principality of Zeon. Of coarse I could be wrong.

My question is would Cn show rest of UC Century on Adult Swim or Toonami???

Why did the gf of Kou go and save Gato in the end of the series??

You have to answer this question because it might spoil the whole series for us.

Slight translation difference, that's all. You'll also notice that they say "Jabrow" instead of "Jaburo" and Ocean's dub says "Jim" instead of "GM." Also, Ocean's dub says "Hail Zeon!" instead of "Sieg Zeon!"

About Nina helping Gato in the last episode...this is one of the biggest character spoilers in the show, so be warned:
It is revealed later on in the series that Gato and Nina had a relationship on Luna after the One Year War ended, so Nina had mixed emotions on who to be with. She didn't want either of them to die, so she helped Gato after Kou shot him.

Where will Z Gundam air? AS, or Toocrapi?

It is unknown if Z will air, if ever. Right now, Bandai is currently in production of the english dubs of Mobile Fighter God Gundam and the movie Char's Counterattack. It is said that G will air on Toonami this fall....
They've even supposedly changed some of the names in G:
God was renamed to Burning
Devil was changed to Dark
And so on....
This is all just rumors though. We'll see what happens when they finally release the info.

Actually, those name changes aren't just rumors; they're proven fact. The new G Gundam models are being released with those names printed on them.
