Last time: A out of place none canon filler arc began! Shusuke Amagai was chosen to be the new captain of squad 3, yet Kira was having a hard time getting the rest of the squad to accept it. Blaa blaa a party happened to get Amagai accepted in, blaa blaa drinking happened, and after almost failing a mission to defeat some Menos hollows, Amagai came in and saved squad 3 with his power.

Today: While fighting hollows like always, Ichigo ends up running into a mysterious girl who is later taken away by her Soul Reaper Attendants. And then a bit later Kon ends up noticing that somebody has moved in next door to the Kurosaki's..

Then who or what has landed here? Are they here yet? Or has the cosmic switch been pulled?

Case in point: the line between manga canon and anime filler is microscopically thin! You have witnessed the line being shaved even thinner! But is the Arrancar menace with us? Or have the monsters gone?

I remember that handful of episodes where Ichigo's bankai was oh so impressive....but since that brief moment in anime time his bankai has essentially become nothing but a change in wardrobe.

The highlights:
Isshin and Keigo were hilarious as always, hahahahaha.
Orihime was funny which her cute ditziness clashes with my Misa along with her cute evilness, hehehe.
Chizuru the lesbian pervert cracks me up as always, hehehe, but cool that she looks like Akiza/Kallen.
I love Lurichiyo & Enryu who're the next great interesting filler characters, but Lurichiyo reminds me of other annoying spoiled bratty princess characters and Enryu so like Norman from Mighty Max/Brock Samson/Alex Louise Armstrong which it's cool that he's a big strong silent-type:D.
Both Lurichiyo/Kenryu's dub voices are pretty great.
Lurichiyo annoying Ichigo was so hilarious, hahahahaha:p:D.
Kon was pretty funny at that scene.

The English voice has severely toned down the spoiled factor, and instead tried to make the character sound more normal. I think it's actually Cindy Robinson behind the vocals, not Laura Bailey, considering Robinson's been added to the main cast in the shortened credits and Laura Bailey, the suspect everyone's mentioning, has not. Our princess' voice sounds similar to young Balsa.

agreed in the Japanese version lurichiyo was far worse...far far worse...and I can't give a link without being extremely spoilerific and revealing a few more voices (darn)...However I found it interesting that Lurichiyo didn't sound so aristocratic. I mean in many situations, I was expecting a we need, we want, but she maintained the I...most interesting IMHO since her saying we need (eg food) was probably one of her more annoying things she did.

Oh Orihime and Rukia saved the episode tonight. With her yoga and BDSM discussion and chappi and Rukia saying what is on every single fan's mind...

Yeah, it takes a very long time (and another ED) before the filler gets bearable. But fear not, filler gets a lot better (and then worse, or is it worse then better then worse again yeah I will go with this option). As far as voice acting goes, pretty good, it took me a bit to say wow Lurichiyo sounds way too old, but then mellowed into the character quite fast

Actully it is no coinesidence how similar Lorichiyo and her two bodyguards are to Nel and brothers, and the Mod Soul Trios. It is obivious there is a formula for these types of characters. Have a little girl who is the center of the group, a big mouth guy who won't shut up, and another guy who rarely talks.

And y'know, just to make matters even worse, this isn't gonna be the last time they pull this **** either... yup, there will be another filler arc to come and interrupt the canon arc... frankly i blame Kubo Tite more than I do the anime team

Though y'know, i kinda wonder why Adultswim didn't play this a little smarter... i mean, if they wanted to, they could have actually skipped these huge filler arcs and just stuck to the canon... the american audience would have never noticed the difference; and the american version is WAY behind the japanese version...

Or perhaps, if they felt they needed to include the filler arcs, they could have aired the arcs out of order... such as airing ALL of the filler arcs after the bount filler; if they did that, then the canon storyline could have gone uninterrupted...

lol, When I saw those stars, I also thought of Armstrong. And it is a shame that this guy is a mute, otherwise we would hear some very sweet speaches about protecting the princess.

Not his fault little girl love him. In this case I don't think it is a crush more so an attachment to Ichigo, like Nel has for Ichigo. Lirin defenetely has a crush on Ichigo, but I am not sure about Nel, she gives mix messages, first shows jealous towards Rukia but later giving Ichigo advice on how to be a gentlemen to Orihime.

And as this arc progessive, I think Lurichiyo just as an attachment to Ichigo not a crush, consider what we find out about her later. I think those that know what happens, know what I mean.
