It was part of the Boomerang block this morning -- they were doing 1964, which is the year "The Porky Pig Show" debuted on ABC. Two other '64 debuts, "Magilla Gorilla" and "Johnny Quest" also aired today.

I sort of liked "Porky's Romance" and think CN should play that one more often. My only problem is that Petunia is presented as sort of a snob there. She only pretended to like Porky because he had candy. Actually, I preferred cartoons where Petunia was nicer. I really liked Porky and Petunia's duet in "Naughty Neighbors."
