The Vanilla Ice Project showcases the Grammy-nominee’s 15 years of self-taught home improvement experience. In this 10-episode series, Rob is ready for his biggest project yet – a complete overhaul of a six-bedroom and five-bathroom, 7,000 square-foot lakefront home in Palm Beach, Fla. Each half-hour episode documents Rob demonstrating his vast renovation knowledge as he calls the shots in this room-by-room home makeover series, exposing an entirely new side of the star.

Well, it's good to know that he has something to fall back on if his music career tanks.

Nice Family Guy joke launchpad.

On to my comments on this....

No...just...just....NO. Vanilla Ice is making a show about getting his home renovated?

Who would be interested in that??

A message to DIY: RATINGS WILL SLUMP.

Most of the time this would be a horrible idea. But I just can't stay mad at Vanilla Ice.

So, yeah, frankly I like the concept. Ice needs more ridiculous reality shows. I'd watch 'em.

M Night Shamalan made an Avatar movie.

Michael Bay is making a Hansel and Gretel movie.

And now Vanilla Ice is getting a show about home renovation.

Anyone think the entertainment industry is just playing one big practical joke on consumers by letting these things happen?
