I think TNA has telegraphed who will win the tournament, don't you think, kids? Angle-Hardy. Dinero-Anderson. Do the math, gang. Angle will get another title run. Angle's match with Douglas Williams was the best on the show for pure technical ability alone.
So now Fortune wants to take over TNA proper, and so in addition to EV2.0, they lay out 4 ex-NWO members (Sting, Jarrett, Nash, Hogan). And Abyss, despite this, keeps talking about "they", but doesn't reveal anything? Who else could be coming in? It's more likely that Fortune is indeed the "they", since Abyss interfered in AJ Styles' match with Tommy Dreamer. Why cast Flair as a megalomaniac, anyway? Because Russo wants to use him as a parody of that other senile senior citizen, Vincent Kennedy McMahon, that's why.
I found some irony in Nash's remarks. Isn't this how the NWO started in the first place?
With Lacey Von Erich on the DL, I think we're going to see a reunion of the Beautiful People's founders, and Madiwhine Rayne will be on the outside, wishing she never got a big head.
Fortune, IMPO, is risking jumping the shark already by adding more people than they really need. The NWO made that same mistake, and exacerbated it because they didn't know when to stop. I give them to the end of the year before that group breaks up.

I have a question, I thought Fortune was suppose to have 4 members only? So the why are Doug Williams and Matt Morgan in the group?

Homicide, Tomko, and Rosie Lottalove have been released.
TNA wasn't that good today, and Fortune isn't shaping out too well. I'm tired of TNA always having these factions take over, can't we have something like Team Canada where their plans weren't taking over the company. In other news Angelina Love looked hot....as usual :D

Because the writers are weird like that. It could never consist of four people though because Ric Flair had made it five so somebody like AJ could have dropped when Kazarian and him were fighting.

Well he must be happy as he's been asking for his release for about a year now.

I counted Falir as the manager/mentor of the group like JJ Dillon was of the original Horsemen with the 4 as the members. But anyway they are already making the satble too big which really hurts their appeal.

And that's the same problem which killed the NWO. Russo is too stupid to think we'd not notice that. Remember, though, that Flair's last WCW faction was the Magnificent Seven, and, counting Flair, how many members does Fortune have now? Seven. That should be enough.

I dislike playing catch-up, but sometimes you just gotta. My thanks again to Wonderwall for posting the thread. Briefer than perhaps usual thoughts...
The overall theme of my comments a week later seems to be "ridiculous statements and the people who made them" and Hulk Hogan on his cell declaring that the attack on RVD was "like killing the President" was probably the most ludicrous of all.
I remember one thing that made me question the point of ReACTION after what I suppose could be called its pilot episode was how the segments popped up on iMPACT! that night (it first premiered before the show) and then a week or two after and in this episode we had pretty much the same MMG segment from the third hour the week before.
Getting back to my theme, I found it interesting how Taz now thinks the biker is hot after several weeks declaring it was possible the dark helmeted figure could be a "really weird lookin’ dude."
I just rolled my eyes when Tommy Dreamer said "Let the past go." I will say again that I have never disliked Tommy, but I have the dude's unofficial motto is 'Not letting the past go since 2001.' He has done nothing but trade on his ECW reputation since his WWE debut as part of the ECW half of the Alliance faction.
Once Mick finally got Flair's mic cut (shut up, Naitch), I liked his promo about TNA and Ric Flair.
I must say, I think it's kind of neat how the iMPACT! action overlaps into ReACTION; it gives people more of a reason to watch.
Last time I thought the Impact Player was honoring someone from the show who was feature on that week's show, but with Magnus this past week, I guess it is just the name for the bio.
I think TNA has telegraphed who will win the tournament, don't you think, kids? Angle-Hardy. Dinero-Anderson. Do the math, gang. Angle will get another title run.Plus the problem has been so easy to solve with that stupid 'win or retire' thing Angle has imposed on himself.
Homicide, Tomko, and Rosie Lottalove have been released.Too bad, good, and thank God.
I have already watched the show this week and hope to comment on it soon.
