With Percy been eliminated, I noticed hat there a t-shirt curse one the show. Eli, Lucky and Percy all got eliminated after getting a shirt.

I think we all knew Percy Watson was "going home" going in, but Husky Harris, after all the momentum built over the last month, is axed, while Alex Riley, the love child of Reggie Mantle and Eddie Haskell, is still around. I call politics on this one. Miz has curried favor with someone backstage to have Riley hang around at least another week. Cole AND Josh stumping for this overachieving ex-QB was surprising, but there is NO WAY he reaches Albany for the finals.

Kaval finally gets one over Harris, and it seems Layla really is smitten with him. As we saw in the Summerslam Axxess video, separated from Michelle, Layla has potential to be a face again down the road, and that's not that far away, IMPO. Loved Kaval's rap. I was rockin'. It's weird. Harris had one of the best promos of the night. He gets cut, and Cody goes wackydoo. Methinks dues are gonna be paid een full, eef yew weeel, this Friday on Smackdown, pending the opponent.

Michael McGillicutty has hit the wall. He's now lost 3 in a row on NXT, two to pros (Miz & Ryder). He has to rebound and fast.

The rankings:

1. Kaval
2. McGillicutty
3. Riley

That's the way it is, folks.

The final 3 wrestlers were actually the ones that had set themselves apart from the group since the beginning. But I was pulling for Husky to make it, he really has impressed me and I hope he makes it to the roster. I hope Riley is the next to get axed, if there is an elimination next week. But I figured he would stay since they have pushed him with the Miz/Bryan feud. I got a bad feeling that he i this season's Otunga, except Riley can wrestle. I'm pulling for either Kaval or Mike to win.

1. Kaval
2. Michael McGillicutty
3. Alex Riley

Well I prediction last week came true as I predicted Percy Watson and Husky Harris got eliminated.

I didn't enjoy this episode seemed pretty boring and I hate the talking challenges haven't we seen enough of it this season? Husky's was weird, Kaval's rap was alright had a hard time understanding him but I did catch the ending of his rap when he said Total Nonstop Action. Michael McGuilicutty has gotten way too cocky as of late it reminds me of how Heath Slater acted towards the end of NXT. Also when Michael had mentioned how Riley is the season 2 Otunga I had thought why not I try to see who is like who from season 1 and 2 and I came up with

Kaval -Daniel Bryan
Alex Riley - David Otunga
Heath Slater - Michael McGuilicutty
Titus O' Neil- Michael Tarver
Skip Shiffield - Husky Harris
Darren Young - Percy Watson
Wade Barret - Eli Cottonwood ?
Justin Gabriel - Lucky Cannon?

Glad to see Zack Ryder get a win, its not everyday he gets a win so I was real happy.

Better late than never, right?

Well, if the Rookies are going to have a talking segment, I like that they can pick whatever they want rather than try to cut a promo on “flowers” or something (though this year’s version of that was pretty funny: “I don’t have a mustache” ). I don’t know if anyone else feels it, but every week, I feel like Michael McGillicutty becomes more and more of a tool. I can barely tolerate the guy now. He just disrespects people in a way I can’t appreciate. Kaval’s rap wasn’t spectacular, but it was certainly better than all of his other timed promos. I swear this guy does better when he’s not on a clock. Husky’s cowboy boots speech was actually pretty good. Even if they probably aren’t actually, I always thought those boots looked like what Uncle Barry wore.

My reaction to Percy Watson being the first of the two eliminations: “Oh Yeah!” :p I wouldn’t say I started off disliking Watson, but I certainly got tired of him as things went on. I would have even been in favor of him going last time and giving Lucky Cannon another week.

I’d nearly forgotten Zack Ryder was on this show, but obviously there is less for you to do once your Rookie is gone. I was a bit surprised to see him beat McGillicutty, but I like both Ryder winning and Mike Mac getting knocked down a peg.

After it seemed like there would be no follow-up, I was pleasantly surprised to see follow-up on Layla kissing Kaval. I liked the backstage segment and Michelle telling Husky “Uh, you should walk by again.” :D

I was of course, thrilled to see Kaval beat Husky. I was shocked when Harris gained an early advantage in their unscheduled series and was please to see the World Warrior get the big win after delivering probably the best Warrior’s Way so far in his WWE run.

Without The Miz in the house, Kofi was able to beat Riley after his own Rookie was on the losing end earlier. They came out even, but Kofi is not in danger of being eliminated.

I was a bit surprised that Josh had that same opinion as Cole with Riley winning and Kaval being eliminated. I would have expected McGillicutty to be in there somewhere.

Not surprised to see Husky eliminated. He certainly stepped it up after a slow, happy-go-lucky start and really impressed, but there was no way one of the other three was going home. I have liked some of the others, but I fully believe we are left with the overall best three from day one.

Cody’s immediate rant on the elimination of his Rookie was unexpected, but I like this opportunity to see him really angry. Husky seemed upset at his Pro taking his time, but they were still on the same page after they attacked Kaval and ignited a brawl that thankfully ended with the Warrior’s Way.

With Percy been eliminated, I noticed hat there a t-shirt curse one the show. Eli, Lucky and Percy all got eliminated after getting a shirt.Lucky had his shirt for almost the entire season so he didn't just get his shirt when he was eliminated. Both Cottonwood and Watson were eliminated the same night they debuted their new t-shirts.
