When I get bored, I do crazy things. My original plan was NOT to be a board hog and NOT to be negative. I can get carried away with silly responses. By no means will I stop replying to old posts, but I will try not to be so negative. One main purpose of me replying so much is to make sure this board has more posts than a certain one under World's Finest...

We aren't in competition with any of the other boards here, you don't need to feel you have to make posts just so we'll "beat" a World's Finest board.

Anyway, forgive and forget. I accept your apology Sveven. Just try to watch the tone of your messages in the future, ok? After all, we're all here to have fun and talk about cartoons, right? :)

Sveven, there's a fine line between replying a lot and obvious post flooding. You have been doing the latter. That, along with the message you felt the need to post to every World's Finest board, has forced me to suspend you for 24 hours. You really need a time out.

[Jon and Brian, please excuse me for making this off topic post, but I do feel that it is on-topic in the context of this particular thread.]

You should check out the message boards at http://www.mrcranky.com/

Mr. Cranky is a movie critic. Every week, he reviews movies, and each movie has a message forum. But here's the thing: Mr. Cranky allows people to do off topic posts, about any subject. In fact, 95% of the posts there have nothing to do with movies.

The site is full of lots of people who post lots of messages on all sorts of topics. You should give it a try. I think you'd get a big kick out of it!

Oh, one other thing. Most movie critics give out stars: the more they like a movie, the more stars it gets. But Mr. Cranky is different. He hates all movies! So he doesn't give out stars. He gives out bombs! The more he hates a movie, the more bombs it gets!

Mr. Cranky's is the only message board that I have ever seen that has no rules! Have fun!

I think that the Animation & General Topics Board is pretty close to that though. While it obviously has a lot of animation discussion, it has something there on Sopranos, your favorite cereal when you were a kid, and it had something on Primetime Glick a while ago. The description the board uses for itself is this:

Discuss animation, movies, music, television, comics, etc! This board covers all types of tasteful, thought provoking discussion!

So if you want to do something like that, go there. Although Steven will probably want to kill me for posting this.

Hey, we all have our bad days. Maybe you need to cool off before you come online to post. This is supposed to be a happy board, remember?:D

Why? What's the point? Just relax, man. We're not in any kind of competition. Take it easy. You're taking this too seriously. We're all just here to enjoy talking about cartoons, why not just comment on new threads instead of going out of your way to win a race that no one cares about. Not to offend you or anything, but alll you're doing is bring up old topics that we've finished discussing, and I doubt anyone wants to discuss further.

Yer buddy,
Joe:)
