WHAT!!!???
Looks like a cheap photoshop to me.
Besides, Matt Mullins, as awesome as he is, I can't picture making an even halfway decent Vegeta. Then again, pretty much none of the actors from the first film fit their roles anyway.
It's not real. It cannot be real.
Not to mention the first one was a bomb anyway.

I really, really have a hard time believing that a movie as universally loathed as Dragonball: Evolution would get a sequel. Who would finance it? And why?
This has to be fake.

Nobody saying something bad to you but mostly on the pic and the actor who will play Vegeta.
Like many it looks fake, the upper body is too exaggerated.
Honestly like the first film i'm not in high hopes for the sequel so i don't know why they bother doing it if they know the first one bomb.
aside of that they already mention others that will appear:
Shaobo Qin- Krillin
Isaac Jin Solstein- Gohan
Bill Goldberg-Nappa
Ok the last one that will tell it's 100% fake in my opinion since i remember and i think everyone wanted Goldberg to be Nappa.

Why would they make a sequel to the worst film ever...?
*head asplode*
Fake. Besides, don't you remember, Edward Cullen is playing Vegeta.

Honestly that one sounds more fake than the other guy.

This particular thing may be fake, but it was public knowledge last year that DBE had indeed been signed for a sequel. Whether it's still in pre-production or whether it's been scrapped, I have no idea.
I'll be there in the theater to see it if it happens, though, even if it's Danny Glover as Vegeta.

I heard if the movie bombs(which it did) won't get a sequel but seems like someone wants to make it.
lol that one was just funny XD
Ok lets say this is real and by watching that they want to add Gohan and Krillin seems like they want to make the movie be just like the anime without the crappy stuff that the first one had yet they have to ignore alot of things, especially the dumb "Oozaru working with Piccolo" crap.

The first film made something like eight bucks (well, eight million) in the US. It was loathed in Japan, too. This cannot be real.
See, I kinda like the idea of Matt Mullins as Vegeta. Er, sorta.
I loved him in Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, and he was great in the Michael Jai White movie Blood and Bone.
But, in terms of matching the DBE aesthetic? That pic is well done in that aspect, but if this is true.. I'm wondering two things:
1) Why!? The 1st is universally hated, so why not if anything, try and reboot it?
2) If it's true, would it be in theaters or straight-to-dvd..
Sidenote: Maybe FOX thinks this one could fare better because it is based on the "Z" stuff.

Yeah, there was a pile of these discs at Book Off (used book store).

IIRC, it actually did pretty well in some of the Asian markets (well, the non-Japanese ones at any rate). I think they were actually talking a while ago about how, even though it flopped in all the english-speaking countries and the franchise's country of origin, the other markets made back enough money to warrent a sequel.
I'd still dread it if they made one, but I'm also just curious how they could muck it up further...

Dragonball Reborn could be an attempt at a reboot. The "Reborn" in the title could be implied as attempt to try to fix everything that was wrong with Dragonball: Evolution, but the cast roster listing actors set to play Vegeta, Gohan and Krillin still leads me to believe that this is nothing more than some fans' dream casting about the DB movie they'd like to see happen. Still, I have an easier time buying a reboot than some studio producing a sequel to one of THE worst movies of all time.
Until I see some screen shots, I'm convinced that this is a put on.

Just found this from a year and a half ago:
http://www.dblegends.com/2009/02/dragonball-reborn-script/ (http://www.dblegends.com/2009/02/dragonball-reborn-script/)
So "Dragonball Reborn" is the title of the proposed sequel and there is a finished script sitting around somewhere. This much is official.
It's everything else that should be questioned.

Who did Matt Mullin play in Blood and Bone (pretty good fight movie by the way MJW kicks a lot of butt).
As far as Dragonball evo it is pretty bad but I would like to see a sequel done right.

The rumors about Reborn have been in circulation since before Evolution came out. A year later and there has been almost nothing said from anybody. I think it is safe to say we'll only see Reborn in time for the next writer's strike.

There is no sequel. All that stuff is fake. All the news are just desperate and obsessed DBZ fans trying to keep hope alive. There was all this talk of sequels sequels sequels BEFORE the movie came out. Movie came out and bombed, and now all that talk has died. It's just wishful speculation of DBZ fans.
Which is sad.
These "fans"? What is there to be a fan of in DBE? NOTHING.
Sure, could there have BEEN a great Dragon Ball movie? Yes! But no they failed.

Uh, I think you have the wrong impression that DBZ fans actually wanted this....
Wishful speculation? We all wish this damn live-action franchise would die.
