I haven't watched it yet but i'm VERY excited. After I watch tonights episode of Invader Zim, I'll get to Clerks. Man oh man I'm psyched the 2 episodes I saw on ABC were good stuff anyone else seen this or mightw ant to buy it ?

The whole thing was ONLY 19.99 !!! As soon as I get a new job I'm definetly going to go and blow mty whole pay check at Suncoast...so many DVD's, Books, Action Figures and Fan Boy apparel to buy.

Hehe. You gotta hang out at the DVD board more often! ;)

This has been out for quite a while, and discussed there several times.

I've got it, and its great. Definitely a good purchase.

It is worth repeated viewings. It gets funnier each time I watch it.

you're gonna love this series, but you can't watch the commentary until you watch the episodes, that makes it even funnier. One of the best commentaries of any DVD period. Also you gotta watch the storyboard mode for the trial ep during the "crazy american dance party"(you'll know it when you get to it) it's quite surprising indeed :D

MSX, Don't waste your money. Its a horrible cartoon. I reccomend spending a couple of bucks to rent it first at blockbuster, that's what I did and I am VERY glad that I did. I usually love Kevin Smith's stuff and I planned to buy this DVD, but a friend of mine told me to rent it first. I am so glad I did. The cartoon was not funny, the dialogue that makes us all love Kevin Smith movies so much was horrible, and the stories were uninteresting. After three episodes, I had to force myself to keep watching. When the six episodes ended I was so happy.

I can't explain why the cartoon was so bad without giving away spoilers, so I'll have to leave you with my reccomendation.

The Clerks cartoon ISN'T like the Clerks movie.

Unlike the Clerks movie, the cartoon is actually funny, pleasing to the eye, and doesn't resort to using crude language (or penis and sex jokes) to get a laugh.

Caitlin Bree having sex with a dead guy = Not comedy.

"A special delivery of PAAAAAIN!!" = Comedy.

Can I ask what is so uncensored about this? What was cut out from the original broadcast (besides a million episodes  )?

There is one sequence deleted out of the ABC run, and that is Flintstone's List. That gag did not fly with the censors. There may be more, but they talk about that scene getting cut on the commentary.

I loved this series. It was such a funny cartoon. I still find myself quoting eps in conversations. The convention scene was probably one of my favorites ;)

I personally can't wait for the movie, as I felt this series was really getting a good grip on how it should be done with episode #5. If they would have had more episodes, we would have had more great parodies like this ep.

I also loved the titles for each episode. They just getting longer and longer, almost acting as a small summary for the ep.

This show was wild and zany fun, nothing like the movie (which I also loved), and was better for it. If only they didn't go with ABC

I really hate ABC for not keeping this show around longer, but what are you gonna do? At least Kevin got back at them in a (deleted) scene in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back :D

I rented this from Hollywood Video some time ago. The fourth episode (the first to air on ABC) is still the funniest; we're talking laugh yourself stupid, soil your pants funny. I love all of the episodes, though. I can't wait to buy this.
