I'm confused. Why any show but Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes and Adult Swim? Why aren't they allowed? Anyway... bear in mind that I'm going by CN UK. Hopefully the shows I nominated were shown on Cartoon Network US too.
Codename: Kids Next Door
Dragonball Z
Batman: The Animated Series
Superman: The Animated Series
Batman Beyond
Justice League
Justice League Unlimited
Top Cat
The Flintstones
The Jetsons
Grim and Evil/The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy
Johnny Bravo
Pretty much all of the various Scooby Doo shows...

I'd like to keep it to shows that were majorly exposed on Cartoon Network at first. I don't really want the "classics" (no offense meant at all) to dominate. Also, I forgot to mention this earlier but no Hanna-Barbera either as those also didn't start majorly exposed on Cartoon Network. However, I will allow the revivals, such as Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated, and other shows like that which aired on Cartoon Network mainly, allowed in.

Wait then are BTAS and STAS eligible? I was wondering when they were ever on Cartoon Network.
Duck Dodgers. Good show.
Also what about Adult Swim shows like Robot Chicken? Shouldn't they be eligible?

Looked it up and could not find history of Cartoon Network ever airing either of the DC animated series. Good catch.
And Adult Swim is not allowed, as every official press release treats it as a separate station, and the forum itself counts it as separate. Also, the content on Adult Swim is obviously way different than Cartoon Network.

it's not a separate station, it's a programming block, much like toonami was. before toonami got cancelled, it had its own forum here too. the difference in content shouldn't really matter though, it's like saying best live action movie, then disallowing R rated movies. just saying, it's still your thread, but Robot Chicken should be allowed.

Of course, this specific Greatest thread is trying to limit the shows to those non-Adult Swims. We want to see what WITHOUT them - makes total sense. ;)
What DOESN'T make sense is that these aren't up there yet:
Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?
The Scooby-Doo Movies
I mean, how do we have all these Scooby shows without the original one? Did I just miss it or something?

BTAS and STAS both aired re-runs on Toonami at one point, if that counts.
I'll toss in a nomination for Sheep in the Big City because it was such an awesome show.

In the UK, Cartoon Network aired most of B:TAS (but not The New Batman Adventures), season 1 of S:TAS, most of Batman Beyond and some of Justice League. The remainder of Justice League was left to Toonami and JLU aired on Toonami.
Now, I'm not from the US, but I remember that B:TAS and JLU did air on CN over there.
Plus, Teen Titans definitely aired on CN in the US. Not sure about The Batman, but I'm confident that all of the DC shows that have been nominated were shown at some point on CN in the US.
I might have to ask about this on the DC Animation Forum.
Codename: Kids Next Door
Already nominated it.
I'd also like to nominate the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo.
Is The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy considered a sequel to Grim and Evil instead of the same show? Because I notice that both are listed.

Since you are insistent and I feel as though maybe Adult Swim deserves one representive and since Superpan agrees with you, I will allow Robot Chicken to be nominated but nothing else. However, I am surprised nobody has nominated Space Ghost as it did air on Cartoon Network in actually.

Thank you to you both for pointing out about Batman and Superman. And yes, I consider The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy a sequel series.
