You Tell 'Em, Ed!

For everyone who is waiting on their preorder of the 'Ed, Edd, n' Eddy: Junkyard Scramble' (Gameboy Color) game, we have some bad news. bam! Entertainment Inc. has cancelled its release. No official statements have been made, but a phone call to bam! revealed that the game has been scrapped. Amazon deleted all of the preorders, so no one will be charged for the game.

When writing, DO NOT FLAME. I know it's tempting, considering how they have three Power Puff Girls games out and no Eds games, but please be polite. Let them know that you were looking forward to the game and that you're disappointed about it's cancellation. If they get enough snail mail, they may consider reviving the project.

BTW - Individual snail mails from different people are what makes an impact. Companies usually ignore petitions because they are too easily forged, especially emailed ones. Stick to letter writing if you want their attention...

Shortly after Axey posted her discovery regarding the cancellation of 'Ed, Edd, n' Eddy: Junkyard Scramble,' Danny Antonucci forwarded Holiday wishes to the Eds Zone Message Board, plus some details on what was happening with the game and Season 4. Here is what he said:

..."Just some news on the EEE Color Gameboy Game. It hasn't been cancelled outright. Seems the "game engine" for our game fell through. A rights issue, boring legal stuff... YEECH! This means Cartoon Network is trying to find a new engine for our game. Wooo is us..."

I'd Play an ed game if Danny A. was involved in devolpment. I think lots of licenced games could be good if the creators where involved. Look At sam and max hit the road, wich sam and max comic creator steve purcell was deepley involved with.

Yeah and remeber the games for "South Park" and how involved the creators of that were involved? The game sucked more the the last three PPG games, and Dexter's Kab games COMBINED.
