Actually "I Am The Night" was never an episode that stuck in my head really...episodes with Joker did though...not saying it isn't good though.

I AM THE NIGHT is the episode in which Commissioner Gordon gets shot, and Batman blames himself because he can't stop it from happening.

It is definately a great episode, but it's not one I've watched a great number of times. It never stuck in my mind as a "classic", though it's definately a high point in the series. I give it 3.5 stars (out of 5), myself.

I remember that episode... just didn't remember the title. That's a very good episode. I really like that one. Definetly one of the best episodes in my opinion.

Yeah, its definately in my top three favorite episodes. It really hits on the essence of the characters.

Yeah, that's one of the true classics of BTAS. Everything from the shooting, to "Oh my God", to the Palance tribute are perfect. You really get into the angst part of Batman's brain. Not your typical American cartoon fodder. The animation is above average, though not the absolute best. I don't remember who did it, but judging by the art style, I'd say Sunrise or Spectrum. Sunrise tends to draw Bats long faced and very barrel chested and it looks the part.
