I have acted as a board hog for the last three days. Now Jon Cooke is angry at me. Hopefully this will be a lesson to all frequent posters.

I would like to thank you guys for coming to my defense here. You guys are real pals. I am pretty sick of all these replies Mr. Dvorking has been making all of a sudden. I don't know about the rest of you

You don't want the World's Finest moderators angry at you. Take this as a lesson.

Hmmm...what wrong with contributing to the boards? Jon's DISCORUAGING that? I've been wondering why people don't post more on here, now I am beginning to see why! Hey, DG has more posts on average than me, so if the head moderator is the head board hog, I say "where's the trough?"

We here at World's Finest don't think there's a limit to posting. Sure, there is the rar eoccasion when someone can go way overboard and reply to every little thing, which actually can get annoying. I post alot, myself. I don't see any harm in being a very frequent poster. Frequest posters help keep the board moving along. I think it's discouraging when you're..ah...discouraged to post. The very reason why these boards exist are to post. If someone has problems wih you posting, then email him and try and talk things out.

There's a difference between frequent posting and post flooding. Sveven wanted to make sure the TTTP has more posts than Worlds Finest, read this quote from him:

From Sveven Dvorking:
When I get bored, I do crazy things. My original plan was NOT to be a board hog and NOT to be negative. I can get carried away with silly responses. By no means will I stop replying to old posts, but I will try not to be so negative. One main purpose of me replying so much is to make sure this board has more posts than a certain one under World's Finest...
It's not a contest to see what board has the most posts, and it shouldn't be.

No one has said anything negative about me posting, and I have made a lot of posts. Frequent posting is certainly not discouraged at the TTTP by Jon or really anyone else. It's just that Sveven was getting on the nerves of pretty much everyone on the board.

Also, I would like to point out that Mr. Dvorking edited my original quote. I said I was sick of his "negative and insulting" replies. I certainly wasn't discouraging people from posting replies. I was simply discouraging inappropriate behavior.

Ok, I'm heading back to Termite Terrace now... :p

Well, Brian temporarily banned him for 24 hours because of his over posting. I checked out th eboard and I agree on this. There's always a limit on how much you can post, and he went way far beyond what I've seen anyone post. Heck, I think it can even count as flooding. Well, I'm sorry that we partly had a role to play in this. Not directly, but a small role, indeed. And I hope I didn't offend you with anything, it wasn't my intent.

I'll do a better review of things before I comment next time!

Personally I'm having trouble commenting at all myself. I don't know why this Sveven person doesn't like our boards, or one of them, or whatever the case is. I came to Toonzone because that's where my boards were being moved ("mine" meaning the ones I love and visit exclusively).

I have seen the more negative board hogs though, and my personal opinion is that Jon and this Sveven should get a dialogue going before things get worse, because they always can and most times do. And I hope the excessive/negative posting stops, no matter what board it's on.

But, of course, I can't really make a call on something that happens in Central City instead of Gotham.

But, I'd like to add that because of all that I said that I can't be turned against other administrators because, number one, I never would because I like and respect them and therefore I have no reason too because their decisions and actions are based on the boards' and members' best intersets. And two, as I said, I'm not listed as a moderator of the other boards, even though I would clearly add input if I was asked.

So, with that, I guess it would have Sveven's plan to have the WF mods scrutinize other mods backfired, since it seems like all this post intended to do was bring the trouble to other boards.
