What if Bruce Timm and Paul Dini got together and made a project where every 3 months or so, they would make an animated origin of every IMPORTANT Batman character on DVD? It would be in animated style and would be about an hour and a half or maybe less or more. The costume designs for each character would be new, sleek 21st century like but it would still stick to the original comic design (ex. Joker in ROTJ in the flashback was a little different from the comics, but it still stuck to the original design). Also, the origins would stay more closely to the comics but change some scenes and backrounds to fit the style of today (ex. Robin's Reckoning changed alot of stuff that was originally in the comics). The style would be a mix of BTAS and TNBA.

My question is, would you like this to be made and would you buy it?

Put in your thoughts and maybe add some more stuff that you would like to be added on this.

I don't really care if it's made or not but I think it would be interesting and I would definitely buy it.

Thanks for your reply icecold!

The reason I made this thread because I couldn't stop imagining Batman: Year One by Frank Miller transferred to animated format. It was so cool seeing the images of the police chasing the young Batman down and Batman outsmarting them. It looked so cool in my head especially if you have good imagination :)!

Anyway, hope you other guys reply because I really want to hear your thoughts!

It would be cool but it would never happen.

Hey, I'd buy anything these guys did. (But you'd need to give them a little more time than 3 mos. to do each of them. ;) )

No..The production would start probably a year before making the DVD's ready for shipment;)

Also, wouldn't it be cool to have famous storyarcs made into animated movies as well?!?!

What do u guys think of making these arcs to animation?

I'd want to see Knightfall and Prodigy, maybe No Man's Land.
