WWF Smackdown talkback (spoilers)

Last night's show was good. There were good matches and not too many boring promo's.

The promo where Jericho tossed Lita and Matt Hardy was funny. Matt called Chris a has been. I guess that's better than a "never will be." I hate the Hardy Boyz. Chris Jericho will have gold around his waist by Summer Slam.

The promo with Angle was funny. Vince usally bores me, last night he wasn't so bad. Of course anytime Ric Flair is on, that's a bad thing.

Christain's pouting act during the card game had me laughing. Am I the only one that finds this funny?

Was the APA putting up the closed sign supposed to make me feel sorry for them? I hope Farroqq drops the stupid name and goes back to Ron Simmons. He'll probably team with D-Von.

Speaking of which I don't care anymore. The Dudleyz will continue on. If they don't put them back together I say there will be more Dudleyz brought into the WWF. Probably not Big Dick Dudley. THey've been hinting for awhile now about more Dudleyz.

Matt Hardy has no business in the ring with the Living Legend. The match was good only because Jericho put Lita in the Walls of Jericho. I find it funny when he abuses women. Remember the hammer with Chyna? Maybe because he is very girly. I hope no one takes my abuse of women comment for more than what it is. This is wrestling we are talking about.

Triple H can you say over rated? Am I the only person who wishes he didn't come back? I'm sick of him already. I'm not even going to talk about his match.

Yes. A lack of promos isn't a bad thing. It's a good thing :D

As a long time Jerichoholic, I'm glad to see that WWF isn't lettin Jericho fall outta the loop. This split could lead to Jericho having some more gold(Yay!) and could even elevate Matt Hardy without his stupid brother and the girl that can't even do her signature Hurrancanrana anymore.

I never really cared for Angle, now that he's done with my boy Booker, T I guess. Vince and Flair are seemingly done with one another now that the split is coming into affect. I just think it's funny seeing the 2 old men get riled up.

Christian is funny. He could really be made into a top star if the WWF weren't keeping his character down. He was better than Edge on the mic, IMHO.

APA. . .closing down. :( Am I the only one that got a little senitmental when they turned the signed that said "Sorry, we're closed"? I really don't see a comeback of Ron Simmons, though. Teaming with D-Von. Sure why not? It seems likely. That would have Bradshaw and Buh Buh Ray. But damn, what has happened to the Tag Team division anyway?

HHH. . .I never got too much out of him either. The only thing I've noticed is how slow he's gotten since he's come back frome the quad injury. Of course it's understandable.

I'd go into my opinions on how the WWF already is messing up the split, but this post has gotten a bit long. Now can you dig that?

SLIPKNOT, how could you forget the promo with Kane?? That could be the start of Kane's shining moment. Now we can finally have Diesel vs. Diesel.

One thing that makes me mad about Smackdown: Spoilers. I hate it when newsletters (and other people) tell you what happens before the show starts. I wish it were live so people wouldn't ruin the show.

Jericho: GO JERICHO GO. Just because he argued with The Rock over a tag match loss makes him a heel?? YIKES. It's good to see that Rock doesn't embarass the sharpshooter anymore.

One last little rant: Am I the only one who hates it when the crowd yells "You ****** up"?? It gets me very angry.

I forgot Kane. That was something of epic proportions to say the least.

I don't mind the you *****ed up chant, but it's the damn "What?" chant that annoys me. I know I set myself up. :(

it's amazing..one week your in the main event against triple at wrestlemania defending your undusputed title...the next your fighting matt hardy midway though smackdown..never a dull moment in y2j's life. i really do hope chris does get the belt back soon too. i think he was the best rouge/heel champion we've had in a long time....

the kane bit had me almost fall out of my chair..i can usually predict every step, but i was honestly caught off guard with his sudden comedy burst out..i mean, that was like seeing batman just start doing that out of nowhere..i guess losing the mask is'nt too far off for kane...

and just for the record your not alone..a part of me did kind of feel bad for a moment when we saw the apa slowly hang the closed sighn on the office door...but then i quickly started thinking of poor old willam regal lying somewhere back there under a table in the dark during the whole thing. :p lol...kind of killed the whole effect.

Want to know why I hated those chants during the Hardcore match?? Someday a wrestler is going to get real angry and do something to really injure the guy (possibly kill) by being careless (come to think of it, that's how I feel about people who chant that.)

It was a good event. i woulda posted this thread but i was busy campaining for IVy and Harley. I liked Kanes promo. very funny and weird. It was a sad day the APA is outta business. Christians temper-tantrum was hysterical. And yes Slip, TripleH is was to hyped up. I dont really like his promos.

The Kane promo was funny. I expected him to do the leg drop and people's elbow. I remember awhile back. He did it on a house show or when RAW went off the air.

Yeah I'd say that's a punishment. Fighting for the world title at Wrestlemania to fighting Matt Hardy on Smackdown. Take away a Hardy Boy or their girl and it's over for them.

Give Farrooq and D-Von masks and we'll have Doom 2002 :) Hey they did it with the LOD.

I, too, loved Kane's promo. Now, if they would only remove that mask...

(Okay, Okay. I know it fits with that whole "burned brother" gimmick, but don't you think it has run it's course? Maybe they're afraid that if they remove the mask that his face will bring back horrible memories of his previous gimmicks, the fake Deisel and Isaac Yankem, D.D.S. By the way, he looks more like Sid Vicious without his mask on than Kevin Nash.)

Canada usually has great crowds. You can tell that they are enjoying the show and they appreciate the matches. But lately, they aren't as good anymore. They cheer Rob Van Dam (BOO), they did that dumb "3-D" and "We Want Tables" thing, and now this Bret chant. Sad.
