Wouldn't it be great if when you turned on Acme Hour you saw some censored cartoons that hadn't been seen in the last 5 years+. What would you do? Would you scarmbble to get a blank tape?

Actuallly, that's what many of us did during a memorable Acme Hour in October 2000. For two hours, we were treated to many rare cartoons, including:

-The Midnight Snack (Tom and Jerry)
-Saturday Evening Puss (Tom and Jerry)
-Malibu Beach Party (Warner Bros.)
-Jitterbug Follies (Count Screwloose, MGM)
-Porky's Midnight Matinee

This was unannouced! When it happened, it was an event for us.

Darn right it would be great! I remember when CN used to show rare cartoons occasionally late at night, or when Bugs & Daffy or Acme Hour got pre-empted and could only be shown at night. What was the last time that happened?

Yes, the only problem would be usually checking in the morning, and then needing to wait until after school to watch them. I would be distracted at school. Of course, not seeing the cartoons is more of a problem. :D
