Bruce Timm said that BB was just an idea they thought up and therefore BB could also only be an alternate dimesion story

I wouldn't say that...I think of it, as a possible future only, not another dimension, but maybe an alternate timeline. If it never happens...It won't hurt my feelings any.

i think of BB as a probable future, and definetly not another dimension. They said that it would be treated like an elseworld so that people like us dont pick out the holes.

holes are also in STAS and BTAS and JL, so they could be treated as 3 different continuities as well. But they were meant to be on the same one. (with the general not trusting superman in JL;'secret origins', because of what happened in Legacy) and JL to BB (with batman not becoming a full time member of the JL, which agrees with BB)

other people might argue me to death, but i consider BB real in the animated continuity :) as real as Batman and Superman are to each other.

if you wanna read about a long-term future of Batman read this. (http://www.geocities.com/jobshop12)

i think that they left it to our own discretion. if you want to believe that its part of continuity or not, its your choice. me, i count BB as part of BTAS,STAS,JL continuity.

Of course the real continuity test will come if and when Robin (he looked young in his post TNBA appearance but there are very young looking 16 year olds out there) and Nightwing makes any future appearances on Justice League and/or any future Animated DC Universe series. Then again, an appearance by Starro on Justice League would automatically render Batman Beyond out of continuity.

For reasons that i've already explained a bunch of times, Batman Beyond is THE future of Batman in my eyes.
