View Full Version : Yu Yu Hakusho Action Figures

anyone else hear of these? I saw an ad for them in the newest issue of Animerica. anyone have any info on them? (how much, who made them, etc. )
all I know is that there will be a Yusuke, Kurama, Hieyie(i know its misspelled), and Kuwabara. I want!!! :D

IF Labs made the toys. IF Labs were the same guys who made the DBZ Movie Collection toys. The YYH line is scheudled for a April 2002 realease, and they should be around 14 - 19 dollars.

CHEAPER!! :p The DBZ movie collectors figures with be from around $14-20....but the YYH toys are going to be marketed to a more "kid friendly" world(Great sculpts, fair articulation...and for kids?). I think Kuawabara is going to be about 9" tall, with Yusuke at 8", and the other guys ranging around there. Expect the figures to be more in the $8-14 range. Heh...I know my toys. ;)

Are you sure of that? I thought they would be on the 5 inch scale like IF Labs Dragonball toys.

Damn! I wanted my very own Botan and Koenma action figures! Still, Kuwabara rules... :)

It seems Kuwabara's "softer side" has changed a lot of peoples minds about him. I'm not saying you, specifically, dj_gir, but earlier it seemed like everybody hated him. But after we got a chance to see him take a beating for his friends and get all upset over a kitten, everyone loves him!

But I guess that's what the writers of the show intended. And, after the last few episodes, I'd agree...Kuwabara rules.

Nope. The DragonBall toys are in 5" scale, but the YYH figures are in a mighty-fine 9" scale. Although I finally got a peek at the Yusuke figure...his shoulders are jointed funny, so he can do his "pointy-finger-laser" thing..but if his arms are just at his sides...it kinda looks funny...

Yeah, I must say I hated Kuawabara in the first couple of episodes...now...Kuawabara RULES! :D

I'm not to crazy about IF Labs making all there toys on the 9 inch scale. Sure, they can put more detail on a 9 incher, but now how am I gonna have Cooler fight my 5 inchers?
