Think about it the two have showed emotion towars each other through the series as after all it's always WW who calls for Batman to help them. And that kiss? Whoa. By the way don't say Nah, Supes and WW are better because Supes has Lois.

Yeah i agree! I think that Batman and Wonder Woman should really get together. And if you look at the episodes it all seems to fit. Does anyone know anything about if the creators are going anywhere with it? I think Superman is more of a fatherly figure to the team than a romantic interest.

I was ready to say "Back up! Bad idea!" when I first read the title, but after reading what you put and then thinking about it myself, I really see your point. Could it happen? Sure. Will it? We'll have to wait and see. ;)

Bruce Timm said Batman Beyond might not have actually happened so who knows?

NO!!! I can handle some fleeting interest between the two, but I do not want this to turn into Scott-Jean or Reed/Susan.

True, Batman did reveal some feelings for Diana. And there's a little bit of reciprocation on her part. But face it: it's not happening.

IF you knew the Bruce, you'd know why.

I think it might be cute, but, in the long run, I wouldn't want Bats with WW. I remember my eyes widening in Brave and The Bold Part 2, when Batman seemed to earnest on saving Wonder Women. And then that little kiss and all. One of my buds the next day was like, what the heck was that with Batman and Wonder Women? If they keep laying little "hints" in an ep now and again, it might be good. But if they actual show them having major feelings for each other, I'm not sure I'd like it.

Nope, Supes and WW are destined for each other.

Supes and Lois are destined for each other. And if Batman is destined for anyone (I believe that he is not, but if he must be,) then it simply must be Selina Kyle.

But, as I have often said, if you want to watch a series about people in sordid love triangles, please watch Smallville. It's an excellent show and features better writing than a regular episode of JUSTICE LEAGUE, and deals with romance. Leave the Justice League to be an action/fantasy show. PLEASE do not turn this into a dating game.

Well they wouldn't get like married or anything, but maybe a little fling would be good for Batman. As Bruce he might get all the women, but as Batman he only has Catwoman, who he really couldn't trust in a relationship. I guess there's always Batgirl, but then he'd have to probably bring Gordon into his secret eventually. As Batman, I think he could use a little lovin' and Wonder Woman seems ready to give it. Plus Superman always gets the credit, its time to let Batman get the girl for once.

Since I consider Batman Beyond to be a complete Elseworlds series, and NOT in the regular Batman continuity, I'm ready to say that a Batman/Wonder Woman relationship would be VERY interesting, if it were handled well. A few subtle hints in each episode would be enough.

And you gotta admit, that kiss was cute.

I admit the kiss was cute, but I also don't read anything into the scene as everyone else did.

Batman hates death and he thought Diana died sacrificing herself for the city, so he wanted to save her. I am surprised the other Leaguers stood idlly by while he tried recovering her. Especially J'Onn who should have detected she was still alive. Diana gave him a kiss to thank him for not giving up hope. Not because she wants him in bed.

And the way you say Spyact3 "She seems ready to give it" really sounds awfully insulting to the character of Diana, as if she was a horny little teenage girl. This is the spirit of truth you're talking about. Just because she kisses a man doesn't mean she wants to be taken to the Batbed.

For some reason, this thread reminds me of a piece of conversation that happened in a Legends of the DC Universe story about 2 years ago:

WW: He'll stop a war. A war -- for one night with me.
Batman: So would I...

Do I want to see something similar to this in JL? Nooo. :) (regardless that it was well-written, believe it or not) However, I'd go through any story that disproves that evil Bruce/Barbara relationship. So I have mixed feelings on the matter.

Bruce and Barbara are are like 10 years apart. and plus if was also Wonder Woman who tried to save Batman when he "died" during They're raid with J'onn on that alien base

Honestly, I wouldn't care if there was "flirting" or whatever, but I could live w/o it. And hey, Bats dated Lois to.. ;)

But, it runs down for me like this:

Batman-Andrea (Phantasm)
Superman-Lois

For Bruce I agree that Andrea is a good choice but we all know that will never happen until she serves her sentence. I still think that Bruce and Selena or Bruce and Talia is a good combo though (could you imagine the visits to daddy-in-law? :D). I think Bruce's reaction was purely because he's had enough death in his life and he doesn't want to lose someone that's a part of his "team". Perfect example - Tim can't come back as Robin in ROTJ after Bruce realizes the pain he's already suffered thru and he knows that he couldn't bear to see Tim die or suffer any more.

As for Supes - Lois all the way. If anything ever happened to her I would hate to see the person that did it to her. I could imagine a future like the alternate reality we see in S:TAS. Altho I could see Supes and WW together if Lois ever died and Supes had some time to recover.

Well the one condition for this would be that it would have to be done with class, which i think the creators are totally capable of doing. I just think it might be interesting, if done well. It would put Batman in more episodes too. I'd be fun to see where it goes, if anywhere, but i guess we'll just have to wait till "Fury".

My friends and I were watching B&B part two, and after that we were all just like 'awwwww cute'. I don't think its anything more than that, especially being familiar with Bruce's character and his behavior as Batman. In every romance he has been involved in, Bruce has been involved at some level.

I thought Supes was trying to shag WW. After watching a all the episodes It does seem like Bats has crush on WW.

Announcer Voice -

"Coming soon to Showtime Justice League the lost episode - Lust in the Watchtower!"

Yeah - fairly certain that episode would have to go adult swim or paid cable.

I know this in the comics, but isn't Superman married to Lois?

I think so, but in the later comics.

I believe there are too many assumptions being made regarding the show based on prior knowledge of the characters from the comics and other cartoons. I think the writers seldom cater to the "fanboy" experts as there are probably just as many people watching the show that haven't yet, or haven't for years, read any of the relating comics, or paid much attention to any format involving superheroes. Therefore, I think the bit with Batman and Wonder Woman is simply an instance for the writers to show some character development for a unique situation. And considering Diana's a princess from an isolationist, fiercely independent, highly advanced, close-knit, self-fulfilled, exclusively matriarchal society that has survived and thrived for thousands of years, I'd just as soon see her become romantically involved with Hawkgirl. Or any other well-defined female character. Anyway, I can dream.

Maybe its because of such a woman dominated society that she might like a man who is independant beyond all others....just a thought.

I've always thought of Superman and Wonder Woman. Batman and WW might do but I'd rather see Superman with her.

Don't get me wrong, I like superman, but I think that he gets a lot already. Most of the episodes have him in it with the exception of one, where as Batman is only in it occasionally. I think that if this couple thing happened he might get in more episodes. Plus I think he's a great character who would be fun to see what would happen with the team and all if he did get in a relationship with another member. But Superman doesn't really need anything else right now, and I think the episodes should look more towards some other members, and then they can continue with Superman's character. :)

Superman wasn't in two remember he is the only member who didn't appear in both parts of the Brave and the Bold part 1 and 2 whereas Batman was in Brave and the Bold part 2 not to mention he is the only male character that has been seen in Fury

and also War World is really the only two-parter which has mostly been about Superman while the long awaited Injustice for All will be about Batman
