I've enjoyed the first three episodes of this show, but suddenly all three episodes released so far and the music video have disappeared from iTunes. If you search for them they are no longer found. Marvel's website doesn't say anything about it either.
Did some sort of legal issue happen with this? I can't figure out why it was pulled, and I'm disappointed because I would guess the rest of the episodes aren't going to be released now.
Do you have any idea what's going on? After FINALLY getting to start seeing this show, I'd hate to not get the chance to finish seeing it

I just checked the Playstation Store to see if the show was still available since it disappeared from iTunes, and it's gone from the PSN as well.
I'm surprised that not a single website has looked into why this show (which was FINALLY being made available to fans) has vanished. The show was announced as 12 weekly episodes, but now the first three are gone and both iTunes and PSN act as if it never existed.
My email receipt for episode 3 from iTunes even removed the Black Panther name from the text--it simply says "episode 3."
I read a Marvel comic yesterday that had a big full page ad on the inside front cover about the show being available on iTunes and the PSN, so shouldn't it be big news that it has been removed and even the three episodes released have disapeared?
And for those thinking this was/is just a motion comic--Marve's recent motion comics have come a long, long way. Their first one--Spider-Woman--was horrible and was not animated in any real sense, but Xmen and Iron Man were both entertaining and well animated, with lypsynching, facial expressions, and body language, and Black Panther was even closer to being a straight up cartoon then they were. The voice acting in Black Panther was very good as well. It's a shame if some legal issue (if that's what's going on) is going to keep it away from an audience.

According to Marvel's release schedule (which has disappeared), episode 4 of Black Panther should have been released today, but it was not. The first three episodes that had been released previously were removed last week, and the show has completely vanished.
Is Marvel Animation Age going to look into this to figure out why?
Several websited reported when this show was first announced to be coming out on iTunes, PSN, etc--obviously considering it news. I'm just surprised no one is reporting about it vanishing. I've seen shows have breaks between episodes, but I've never seen the previous episodes removed and all mention of the show erased.
Ah well, I had been looking forward to this show after the first episode, but tt's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things (although I would like to see the rest of the episodes). Mostly the situation just really has me curious.

When asked about the status of Black Panther, the representative for Marvel said "Unfortunately I can't comment on any of that right now."

Well, thanks for looking into it. Weird stuff. Hopefully they release some info soon.

oh, great.. i just hope it doesn't get buried because of some legal hoo-hah involving whoever (I just hope Fox isn't meddling due to Storm's ties to the X-Men movies).. and I hope that Disney higher-ups aren't involved in the fracas.. I know there was a throwaway mention of black panther when it was announced that Shout! factory would be involved with upcoming Marvel cartoon dvd releases.. But, alas, we'll see..

After reading about this news, I hope that the show could return. It had a lot of fans and now with this move, similar to that of iTunes removing Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!, the same people who were interested in Black Panther may stop purchasing anything from iTunes. Then again, this event could blow over and iTunes, or the folks at Apple, may not care less. So I feel for the fans but this may not affect how much money Apple will make in the future.

It does make me question buying season passes if they're not going to issue some sort of refund for 3/4 of a season never uploaded.

if this was going to be 12 eps, i've seen the first 6. great series and a shame that this has happened. i'm thinking it could be due to all the guest appearances from different characters in the show andd that's creating legal issues. but who really knows. time will reveal all.

The 12 'episodes' that were being released online were actually the 6 half-hour episodes that aired on TV in Australia cut in half, so you've probably seen them all.

So, any word on this show and its fate?
I'd love to see the rest of it.
Heck I'd even love to buy the "complete series" if it's been cancelled.
Any news?

I think Marvel and Disney just don't want this show out there and people watching it.

So, did anyone else see ALL the episodes?
I think I saw the first 5, but not the final episode (6).
I've seen screenshots of Storm, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, and Cyclops. And I've seen they're voice cast list.
Do they show up in the last episode?
So, I've been hearing that SHOUT! Factory is releasing this on DVD. I hope someone, if not myself, finds out when, and soon.
