I don't know much about the character other than he also wants a pair of pants...

Grundys no Doomsday. If he could beat the entire JL then he's more powerful than Superman because I dont think even Supes could pull that one off (animated version anyway).

Solomon Grundy has had many different versions, each one with varying abilities. The strongest one I've ever seen was still beaten by Captain Marvel, and the weakest one was taken out fairly easily by Batman. I don't think Grundy's EVER been tough enough to defeat Superman, much less Superman AND all of his buddies.

Hell no!! He's a friggin' zombie. He's more on par with Martian Manhunter or the Flash than the other Justice Leaguers. He is not in Superman's or Green Lantern's weight class

Actually, he is...he's every bit as strong (close anyway) to Superman.

Who's villian group does Solomon Grundy belong to?

He's part of the Injustice Gang, and on Superfriends, he was in The Leigon Of Doom. All I know about him is that he's A zombie who wants A utility belt, and A pair of pants. (Solomon Grundy want pants, too!) Hopefully all that will change when "Injustice For All" airs in this lifetime.

1st of all, i will admit I have hardly any comics w/Solomon Grundy in them so I have no idea how powerful he really is. I assume he is some type of superpowered zombie, other than that, I really no jack about him. So I would have to say that based on my lack of grundy knowledge , No, he can't beat the JL by himself. Can anyone please give me the downlow on zombie boy?

He was also a very important character in James Robinson's STARMAN, but not always as a villain.

PC, I believe Solomon Grundy was strong enough to hurt Superman. That Grundy could probably slaughter the current JL.

Grundy was once a human crook who died in a swamp trying to escape the police. A mystic power hidden in the swamp revived him and gave him unmeasurable super-human strength and invulnerability. In the comics, he first appeared in the 1940's, and was one of the greatest foes of The Justice Society Of America, The Super Friends' World War II predecessors.

and each time he's reincarnated he remembers a different small tidbit of his previous life, from what I hear.

Solomon Grundy born on Monday!
Solomon Grundy want Pants too!
It does look like Bruce Timm will be tweaking our friendly, neighborhood corpse a bit tho (and this ain't no April 1st joke ;) ) so that he may become something of the series 'Doomsday' for now. Or at the very least, an undead Hulk. Check out TZ's own site here (http://www.toonzone.net/shows/justiceleague/solomon/solomon.htm) for more info. My bet would be that they'll make him powerful enough, muscle-wise, to take down the whole league; but of course the JL will do something other than just ram him and try to hit him hard... right?

I wouldn't mind it if Timm and company made him similar to Juggernaut. I also hope Grundy has numerous appearances.
