For a moment I though Arti didn't survive (he was missing from the promos). It was good see he did. Speaking of promo I was suprised that the one with moving stair turn out to be part of the storyline. So H.G Wells was an angry woman, huh? That sure was nice twist. Guess she will be the main villain now that MacPherson is gone. I gonna miss MacPherson. He was a cool villain. Anyway good start for the new season.

So going into this summer, I was planning to watch the Warehouse 13 episode that featured WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes and that was it. 13 was a show that I thought about watching, but managed to avoid in my never-ending quest to watch less TV. However, someone I spent some time with this summer was a big fan and before I knew it, we were watched about four episode from his season one DVD on a Friday and I had finished it by the time the weekend was over. Then I used Hulu to catch up the rest of the way and have been watching it the rest of the summer.

Obviously, I liked the show quite a bit. This is a very fictionalized, but I am a big fan of historical fictional and now I can't imagine not watching it. As a native and current resident of South Dakota, I think it's fun that the Warehouse is hidden there (there's enough space) and enjoy the few jokes that come out of it being located there (Univille is not a real city, but South Dakota does share the Badlands with some of the other states to the west (and there is no "South Dakota University")). Love the theme song too!

I'm excited for the season finale tonight at 9 p.m. ET and will probably catch pieces of the season two marathon which started at 10 a.m. ET and runs up until the finale. For my fellow WWE fans out there, Cody's episode will air at 5 p.m. ET.

I thought it might be fun to offer some brief thoughts on each episode. I may get some things off by an episode, but I think I got it all sorted correctly...

"Time Will Tell"
I felt like he had to, but I had no idea how Artie was going to survive the Umbilicus exploding. Thankfully, they didn't tease us on that too long. I'll miss Mrs. Frederic's driver, but from a show perspective, it's a fair trade.

The reveal that H.G. Wells is actually a woman was certainly a surprise. I know Pete was surprised!

The reveal that it was actually Leena that MacPherson had manipulated into helping him was a surprise. That thimble really needs to be locked up.

I liked MacPherson, so I was disappointed to see him go down, and even though he was bad, I liked that he apologized at the end.

"Mild Mannered"
Someone using an artifact to be a hero was something new that I thought was pretty cool. MacPherson appearing to Artie and his apology note was really nice.

"Beyond Our Control"
The TV coming to life was awesome. Pete is a bit wacky, but he's my kind of wacky, so I enjoy it when something comes up that plays to his personal skill set.

I immediately liked Nolan Gerard Funk as Todd. and He Claudia immediately seemed like a good match to me.

"Age Before Beauty"
The first one I saw on TV rather than the Internet. The teaser with Excalibur was pretty neat.

I always remember actor Phillip Rhys (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0722632/) from season two of 24 so it was neat seeing him here using Man Ray's Camera to keep himself young and accept tons of money from old women.

"13.1"
I am not Eureka viewer (other than the one with Claudia on it), so Douglas Fargo being on didn't mean a lot to me. What I did mean a lot to me was the awesome Rene Auberjonois as former agent Hugo Miller (in his two part role as the piece that became the security system and the childlike part Pete & Mika go to find). At the time, I was mad that it seemed Todd broke up with Claudia so she could make out with Fargo on Eureka.

"Around the Bend"
This episode was a trip with Pete seeing things thanks to the telegraph from Telegraph Island Oman. Benedict Valda is not the nicest man in the world, but he hadn't done anything wrong. And this is the episode that featured the great "No, Pete, the South Dakota College Board of Regents. Yes, The Regents" joke from Artie which I loved.

Pete's make-out with the nonexistent Agent Katie Logan was funny after the fact.

"For the Team"
Artie certainly took things a bit too far in trying to make a connection with Vanessa. Growing back your appendix seems like an extreme reaction.

The stuff with the wrestling team bursting into flames with the use of Godfred's Ladle was interesting.

"Merge with Caution"
"And this is only one of twenty-three ways I could have escaped."

I love Artie. :p

"Would a stalker go to he apartment in the middle of the night to read her poetry?"
Yes, yes he would.

I suppose I should have expected this by now, but Cody Rhodes had more of a significant cameo that anything else. I always think it's neat seeing WWE Superstars outside of WWE TV, so I'll take it.

The two meanings of "Merge with Caution" with Artie & Claudia mission and Pete & Myka's was kind of cool. Robert Louis Stevenson's Bronze Bookends being a Jekyll and Hyde reference was cool.

"Vendetta"
It was neat seeing Daniel Dickenson again. He was kind of obsolete after just a few episodes in the first season, but it was still upsetting to see him killed with The Chain of Tomás de Torquemada. It did set a great tone for what was to come.

The focus on Artie's past life and revealing that he was once hunted artifacts for the Russians made for a great episode.

After their sudden break-up, I was happy to see Todd back in the picture, but the reveal that is in witness protection was a surprise. I don't expect him to be a recurring character again, but hopefully he can return someday. I really like him and Claudia.

"Where and When"
The time travel aspect of this episode was really neat. I love time travel and this aspect that brought Rebecca (and Jack) back was really neat. Plus, we got Armin Shimerman and that is always awesome.

After Rebecca asked to be sent in after Pete & Myka came back, I wanted to cry (in a good way) after realizing that it wasn't Pete & Myka that kissed, but Rebecca kissed Jack and her action it what started their relationship. :(:)

"Buried"
It's always neat when they go to another country and ending up at Warehouse 2 in Egypt was neat and I liked the trials they faced (plus there was that great Lara Croft joke). I will miss Valda even though he wasn't always that friendly.

Obviously, Artie was right about H.G. Wells.

There not be a ton of interest in this news here, but those who are interested, Warehouse 13 has been picked up for a third season as of yesterday (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/news/e3i7b035dcf5d2c2ea777004fdd4ea3e159).

I hope they get back whoever was in charge of the first season and/or get rid of whoever was behind the changes of this season, because I loved the first season but this was continually disappointing. Myka and Pete felt like they were dumbed down to get more hijinks, CCH Pounder didn't seem to care about her appearances, and there was too much emphasis on Claudia. There was a bit of redemption to be had with H.G., but they shot themselves in the foot with making her the villain afterall.

Only 2 or 3 episodes out of the entire season felt like they came close to the quality of the first season. I'm really surprised that it got renewed, especially with such a lame season finale. Honestly, if it's siffy's highest rated show with that kind of season, then that speaks pretty badly of the rest of their programming.

And they can cut out the twizzlers junk, it took product placement to a new low.

I actually enjoyed this season for the most part, until the finale. When I heard the show was doing a time travel episode I got worried (since most writers seem to drop about 30 I.Q. points when doing them, and this show hadn't really been on the level of Lost or anything), but they actually managed to get through it without plot holes.

But the finale was just, well, retarded. You get a villain, make her sympathetic, then suddenly have her want to blow up half the planet for absolutely no reason (the whole "Waaah people are meaan!" excuse was no excuse).
