Marvel Comics (http://marvel.com/) has released a pair of Greg Land illustrated teaser images featuring what are presumably potential future versions of Hope. The pictures are both accompanied by the statement, "A New Generation of Hope," with the word "generation" set in the font used for the old "Generation X" logo. No further information was released, aside from the following PR.

What do you guy's think? I was a fan of the original series when it first launched back in the mid 1990's, but then it got stale fast and before you knew it they were gone and nobody cared. I'm thinking if they give the team their own series again then the same thing will happen, they would be better off making occasional appearences in X-Men titles instead of starring in their own book in my opinion. But the article confused me a bit, they talked about a single character more so than a team of heroes, yet they mentioned Gen X because of the font used for the characters name. Who knows what will happen in the end, but I found this little teaser to be interesting anyhow.

I loved Generation X. After the Operation Zero Tolerance event, it and X-Man were the only X books I continued reading in the 90s, until I eventually stopped collecting during high school. I don't know if a new one would be a good idea. Besides the original five, the younger mutant teams seem to always end in shambles which sucks since they tend to be some of my favorite X-comics and characters to follow.

At least Pixie and the rest of the current young mutates group understands this.
