Obviously Batman and Martian Manhunter obviously managed to figure out how to destroy them but will the Invaders try again?

I wouldn't put it past them returning but hopefully the way will be when the take over a different world and begin to strengthen themselves. It isn't until Adam Strange appears to the JL that they go to his adopted homeworld and fight them off again - having to face their true numbers and strength, including the Imperium.

...They had better frickin' return!!! They were the first force that the JL ever had to fight and they didn't even get any decent characterization! Why Earth? Where did they come from? Why Mars? So many questions...Frankly though, I don't think they'd be in the series finale. The writers have a long way to go when it comes to them...

Lord Almighty, I HOPE not. Man, were they inane. Timm and Co. should've just stuck with the White Martians instead of these insipid homages. Protex was a great bad guy.

The invaders could be good villians to dig up for Season 3. I like jjw's idea of them taking over another planet to gain strength. Maybe one that is shielded from sunlight? That would take away their biggest weakness and make them more formidable.

I think the aliens need a better leader than the Imperium. They need someone who can duke it out with the JL, and I don't see the Imperium as able to do that. Sure, he can torture J'onn. But what about in a fair fight?

I would like for them appear in a storyline along with the Injustice Gang such as in "Rock of Ages" Injustice Gang/Darkseid, in "World War III" Injustice Gang/Mageddon.
