Bruce Timm spoke with Toon Zone today, and lifted the curtain a bit on the highly anticipated "Injustice For All" episode of Justice League. "I really don't want to spoil the show by discussing the plot," he says. But it's "a damn fine ep, one the best shows of the first season, if I do say so myself."
Timm compares the forthcoming episode to "World's Finest" and "The Brave and the Bold." "It's more of a character-driven drama with a fairly large dose of humor," he says, rather than a "clash-of-the-titans/ ragnarok/ battle-to-end-all-battles" thrill-ride. Still, he promises it will contain its quota of action, "including TWO separate battles between the two teams."
Toon Zone broached the subject of the episode's delay -- it has since been pushed back and will premiere after "Fury," which deals with the aftermath of "Injustice For All" -- and asked if he and the team were preparing something "extra special" for the fans. "Sorry," he says regretfully. "That's not how the world works."
