If you read Ultimate Spiderman (the original run) the writing is far superior to Ultimate Comics: Spiderman.

And? You got to come up with more than that.....
This kind of thing is common when a writer has been on a series for so long, they're bound to either run out of ideas or come up with stories that are inferior to what they have done before, eventually some writers lose interest in the character they've writing and things become "eh". This isn't always the case mind you, but this may be a simple case of Bendis being burnt out on either the book he is writing or the fact that he writes like 15 different titles per month.

In a recent interview Bendis has said that he’s writing Ultimate Comics Spider-Man differently. It’s due to the dynamics being different (since all the characters survived through a massive flood that nearly wiped out New York) and the artist being very different than Bagley or Immonen. There’s also the fact that it’s a lot more of an ensemble book, with Johnny and Bobby living with him, than a solo book now.

Bendis responded to my post
as for the rest of the conversation, if you could call it that, I have written every single word of ultimate Spiderman. even the issues where bill's name appeared. he did come up with the idea and some of the story structure but I scripted the entire series.
as for powers, Mike has been cowriting because I think he has turned into an excellent writer and it's his book too. I have written on every issue.
I do not put my name on books I do not write. I do not have any sort of ghost writer or anything like that. it's all me. I know what my output and sometimes diverse genre stylings it could appear otherwise, but no.
secret Warriors first story arc was my idea as was the series itself. but it is 100% Jonathan's baby. truth be told- I didn't really want my name on as writer on any of the issues. it just kind of happened. as soon as I saw it I asked for it to be removed.
that really is the only case where my name appeared in the credits and I didn't feel right about it.
the cool thing with powers is, it belongs to both Mike and myself. if one day I wanted to draw an issue, Mike would think that was great. just like I think it's great to watch Mike go at it. that's what creator owned means.

This is kind of a new one for me, someone who thinks Bendis's writing is so varied from one project to the next that they're suspicious he has a ghostwriter. Usually people are complaining that everything he writes sounds the same.
What I don't get is why this former member was suspicious that the ghostwriting was done in the lengthy original series, which started when Bendis had less clout and which would have been way harder to fake. Wouldn't it make more sense to accuse him of not writing the new one?
Huh, I followed the link and discovered I'm IPbanned from Jinxworld. The weird thing is I don't think I've ever posted at Jinxworld, so I wouldn't recommend clicking that link.
