I've been watching, and sometimes it looks like shes taller than Batman (In heels)...does anyone have a better idea?

Also, are characters like Flash and Green Arrow in similiar size range to Bats and Supes?

I posted about this on another forum several years, so I'm going on memory.

J'onn is traditionally listed at 6'7" and Supes at 6'3", and both are easily tallest of the seven. The other three gents are 6'1" and 6'2", but they are all considerably shorter in animation. Wonder Woman is supposed to be 5'11", but I guess the heels make her look just a shade shorter than Supes. For completeness' sake, Hawkgirl is 5'6".

EDIT: Oh yeah, in "Wildcards," they mention Batman is 6'3" and 240 (he's normally listed at 6'2" and 210). Maybe that's why the bad guys say Batman was getting fat. Either way, as hinted to in "Knight Time," just consider Bats as a tad smaller than Supes.

Then Terry Mcguiness is tiny..... Old Bruce (so minus one or two inches) towered over Terry in some shots in BB.

I think the assumption is that Terry will have another growth spurt when he's in college or something, because in Epilogue, Terry seems taller and definitely has more muscle mass, looking more like Bruce (which makes sense considering his genetics.).

I know it seems like Wonder Woman is shorter than Batman and Superman, since most women in the JLU are shorter than the men, but in the opening credits of the last couple of seasons, she looks almost as tall as Supes, though the heels probably add an inch to her height.

I'm not sure the boots would add much height. It would be extremely impractical and wouldn't really give her much support, nor were they the fashion back in Ancient Greece. However, considering that they're magical, I suppose they could give her more height and still be comfortable for battle.

I don't know. Those look like they're about 3 inch heels. Of course in the JL/JLU series, Batman's got some pretty big heels as well.

Personally, I love Wonder Woman with the high heels. I realize that it might not be very logical for her to be fighting with high heels, but they make her even hotter than she is without them.

And since she has superpowers, logic is out the window already.

I assume she is meant to be her comic book height - 5'11", though the heels may give her a few more inches.

Looking at some scenes in Justice League (specifically from Starcrossed), Wonder Women looks to be just about the same size as Batman if not slightly shorter (by like an inch or two).

I can tell you based on the traditional direction Wonder Women, she's actually supposed to be taller then Superman (evident in New Frontier).

The idea behind it is that Wonder Women is an amazon (of course). The concept behind it is Amazons are lived up to be the dominant gender in their society and as such genetics has allowed them to become more muscular then the average women and taller then the average women.

That's a bit of a comic anomaly, WW is almost never drawn that tall, neither pre- nor post-crisis. As stated above, she's typically 5'11" compared to Supes' 6'3" and Bats' 6'2".

Watch the making of the New Frontier. They talk about her being intended to be taller then Superman in the Silver Age.

I would put her at the same height as Superman in the heels, and just a pinch smaller without them. That also jibes with what we see of them in the 80s Perez comics.

Hawkgirl is meant to be the shortest of the gang.

I see your point, I just never saw that intention executed. Heck, was she even portrayed as taller than Steve Trevor?

Maybe it makes me somewhat sexist, but I prefer for Superman to be taller than Wonder Woman. However, I want him to be bigger than Batman, too (and Batman is my favorite!), so hopefully that balances it out. His massive size adds to the awe-inspiring god-among-men angle, I think.

Semi-related to the height discussion:

I always noticed that the Question and Huntress were about the same height, and they didn't appear to have a huge difference in body size, either-- no more than an average man and woman. As they were a romantic pairing, it stood out to me that neither seemed taller than the other. A way of representing that neither one dominates the relationship, perhaps? (I loved them, by the way. I often dislike romance shoved in amongst the action, but they were pretty darn cute.)

It stood out to me because, as another poster mentioned, men are often considerably bigger than their female counterparts in the DCAU. For instance, Superman is a tank compared to petite Lois Lane. It doesn't necessarily bother me-- I've been 5'3" since I was a young teen, so I'm used to being on the smallish side. Guess it means I don't have much luck for joining the JL, though. :D

Wonder Woman was not actually taller than Superman in the Silver Age if you look at the actual comics of the time (or the Golden Age for that matter). She was only taller than him in New Frontier because Darwyn Cooke wanted to mess with male fans by depicting Superman as looking smaller and therefore weak, pathetic and powerless before Wonder Woman in that particular scene.

Just saying.

I don't know about Wonder-Woman, but for anyone who's interested:

Barbara Gordon is 5'3" tall in her medical records, seen in Batman & Mr. Freeze: Sub-Zero.

If i'm not mistaken, i remember seeing Poison Ivy's bio in a BTAS episode saying she's 5'2".

Even though we've never actually seen Batgirl and Wonder-Woman together in the DCAU, i think it's obvious to anyone that Wonder Woman is way bigger then Batgirl... and not just in height.
