Nightwing?

What ever happened to dick Grayson/Nightwing in the Batman Beyond Universe? is there an episode that tells this or were we supposed to make assumptions??

There is no episode that ever addresses this issue, as much as I and other Nighty fans wish they had done. Dick is mentioned by name at least two times in Batman Beyond, Barbara referred to their relationship as "puppy love" to Terry during one ep. The general speculation is that Dick went off somewhere, probably Bludhaven, and has been training super heroes. I guess one can hope that by a chance of luck they'll make a DTV BB movie dealing mostly with Nighty. Chances are obviously slim, but it would still be cool.

The only other reference that comes to mind is in Return of the Joker.

After Terry talks to Tim Drake, he says to Comm Gordon:
"Were all of you that bitter when you left?"

She replies: "Look up Nightwing someday; has HE got stories".

despite the fact that we're not given a CLEAR message on wut happened to Nightwing, we do get some hints as to what happened to him, and how he feels:

- had "puppy-love" romance w/ Barbara Gordon; soon broke up ("A Touch of Curaré")

- left for another city to establish himself ("Return of the Joker")

- may have had a horrible fall-out with Bruce:

ie.
1.) "were all of you that bitter when you left?"

"Comes w/ the territory, McGinnis. Look up Nightwing someday, has he got stories"


2.) Terry looks at the jacket label. "Who's D-G?"

Bruce doesn't answer makes a grim facial expression.


of course, this is only rumor, but w/ the supposed "Titans" series, Nightwing may have left and became leader of this team... i dunno

Heres what i know.
1. Had a relationship with Barbara Gordon.
2. Got sick of living in Bruce's shadow so he left.
3. Barbara decided to stay with Bruce.
4. He then broke up with Barbara.
5. He moved on and basically went somewhere else.
6. Barbara stated 1 time in BB that he has "issues".

Thats all i know.
