There's a new Spider-Man series coming to MTV. Don't ask why it's on MTV because I don't know.

Heard they were gonna make new episodes of Spiderman Unlimited but don't get your hopes up.

A new Spiderman show? That'd be cool. I don't understand why the fudgemonkey it would be on MTV though.

The MTV Spidey cartoon will aparently take up where the movie leaves off this summer. Whether MTV treats this series right or turns it into a webbed TRL is yet to be seen though...

And don't quote me, but I think the series is supposed to be CGI.

That's a rumor - don't believe it. Trust me if it was new Spidey Unlimited I'd be one of the first to know and I'd be heading on a plane somewhere to drowl over the sketch designs :eek:

As for the new Spidey series - yep it will be complete CGI (by Mainframe, if I remember correctly) but will use more of a cel-animated look. This is supposed to be more of a cel-generated character look and should not look anything like Beast Wars or Reboot (it'll be a 2D CGI - at least that's what they gone on record as saying). They are currently running tests on Spidey and if it all looks good Spidey will have buds that have the reflective quality of the suit, if not we'll just got the regular Spidey suit with little reflection.

Really looking forward to this series, esp. with Bendis serving as writer and consultant on it.
