Rumored CGI Avengers movie being worked on.

I read a rumor on another site that Marvel is making a CGI animated Avengers movie. Did anyone else hear about this rumor?

Based on this article and other similar articles I came across while skimming for this, it all seems like little more than speculation and talk right now. Nothing's concrete yet.

I don't think this is a good idea. If it were a stand alone thing like a DTV then cool but the upcoming Avengers movie is supposed to exist in the same continuity as the live action Iron man, Hulk, Captain America and Thor movies. Going from that to creepy mo-capped Robert Downey Jnr would just by awkward and distracting.

There seems to be two things getting confused, the 2012 live-action Avengers movie directed by Joss Whedon, and a CG Avengers animated film that is part of some attraction, per this site (http://www.thehdroom.com/news/Ms.-Marvel-Joins-Rumored-The-Avengers-Movie-Characters/6774):
'Director Joshua Wexler showed up at Saturday's preview for his new 3D CGI animated film that is part of Madame Tussauds London Marvel 4D experience"

And I think the link Silverstar posted is not related to this at all, seeing as how it's from early 2008. I think that would have been before the live-action Avengers movie was officially announced.
