So the WWE is bringing back Cyber Sunday / Taboo Tuesday for next weeks 3 hour RAW? We've seen this before it ain't nothing new to me.
Oh yeah WWE, I'm really enjoying tonight's guest host which is nothing but a recorded video of him on the screen. GUEST HOST = LAME!!!
Big ups for Daniel Bryan yet again up staging the Miz and damn, moron Cole.:p
It was nice to see some pushes for Bryan and Bourne tonight. I could have done without Jericho losing to R-Truth, though. I would have had Jericho beat R-Truth to set up a match at the next PPV. I was a little surprised they gave away the first Bryan vs. Miz match up so quickly.

What worked:
Jericho-Truth was the best match on the show. The shellshocked expression on Jericho's face suggests that a few more of these could send him back to the face side of the ledger, especially if Randy Orton has to go on the DL.
Tag main event. Exit Orton, enter Evan Bourne. Funny how they never bothered to note, in mentioning Bourne's hometown (St. Louis), that it's also Orton's. Great match, and Bourne gets a well deserved main event rub, getting a win back from Sheamus in the process.
Viewer's Choice next week. Epic win! We may've seen some prospects develop on tonight's card, including an intergender match (Alicia vs. Zack), and maybe a little follow-up from......
Miz vs. Daniel Bryan. CALLED IT!! Of course, I was envisioning this for tomorrow, but this was totally sweet.
Zack Ryder gets Punk'd. Enough said. :D :D :D :D
Vince McMahon returns. 2 months after Wrestlemania, Dr. McNutty shows up to steal Bret Hart's thunder. He's up to something for sure.
Tamina & the Uso Twins. Cole claimed that Jay (Jules) & Jimmy are Superfly's sons. Wrong. As we know, they're Rikishi's sons, but you wonder if Da Kish rubbed Vince the wrong way on the way out a few years back.......!
What didn't work:
Ashton Kutcher preferring to be "filmed", as if it was a movie, like the one he's promoting. Funny how they kept him away from Edge........
Vlad Kozlov turns on William Regal. Not the way I'd have envisioned it, but if he can somehow turn Santino into a serious wrestler again, then it'd be worth it. Not so much now, though.

Very interesting how Evan Bourne basically "won" the main event. Clearly they are finally giving him the full "blessing". They easily could've had Cena win it if they wanted to.
If you're following JR, Stone Cold, and Cena on Twitter, you will see them all putting Bourne over as well. (JRsBBQ, steveaustinBSR, and WWEJCena, respectively)

I thought RAW was pretty...uneventful tonight to put it mildly. I thought the bright spot was the Daniel Bryan segment, that was awesome stuff. I missed Evan in the main event as I was not excited in the least to see another tag team main event with the 4 guys in the main event that they've done a million times. So yea pretty boring RAW.

Rikishi certainly was known for rubbing people the wrong way...

I thought Raw was awesome last night. Looks like the kind of event I would book. :p

Ashton may have been the best celebrity guest host yet. Limited screen time, he wasn't stumbling through things, he didn't get anyone's name wrong, and he only had to shoehorn what he was promoting in one time. The bit with Zack Ryder was lame, but that wasn't Ashton's fault.

It’s funny; at the top of the show I was a bit disappointed that Evan Bourne challenging Edge didn’t make it on TV. It was exciting to start the show that way, but I wanted to see Evan get some more attention. I guess I just needed to be patient.
Not sure why they kept showing the crowd watching the TitanTron during the Kutcher-Eve-Miz segment. Since they were trying to watch (and probably struggling to hear) they weren’t doing anything. Were they expecting a pop for Daniel Bryan?
Sometime over the course of the last year I got over my hate of R-Truth, not really sure why, but I don’t have an intense dislike of him anymore. I liked the match between Truth and Jericho. It was “RAW length” but pretty good. Jericho’s intense reaction after was interesting.
Even though she wasn’t with him on Superstars, I was glad to see Alicia with Zack Ryder when Ryder tried to confront Bret about Kutcher’s hit. I liked seeing Bret with The Hart Dynasty for the reveal as to who had attacked them the week before. I hope Bret sticks around.
I was starting to get the point where I didn’t think Kozlov would actually join Santino, but that’s what I think anyone would take away from the Moscow Mauler attacking Regal. Sure, Regal turned on him once before, but they seemed to have put that behind them. Marella seemed as surprised as Regal probably was.
After the show had gotten going, I was surprised it didn’t kick off with the Memorial Day dedication so I was happy to see it show up going into the second hour.
I didn’t realize it was a three-hour RAW next week, but I have no objection. I feel like Ted DiBiase is getting better at being the 21st century version of his dad, but when Vince McMahon is on his way out, you best get out of his way.
I was rather surprised to see Vince show back up, but it appears it is ‘good Vince’ with his being happy with how the crowd reacted. I actually counted the chairshots at WrestleMania, so I was thrilled to hear Bret say 18 in response to the Vinnie Mac’s question. I guess we’ll see if the boss is really back.
Edge slamming the locker room door into Orton was sudden and I certainly was not expecting it.
Daniel Bryan finally got some revenge on both fronts. He beat The Miz and then he threw him right into Michael Cole. If Bryan does end up on a main roster soon, I hope it’s SmackDown. I don’t think I can take Cole as an angry heel for eight minutes each week.
I was not over impressed with the Usos on the mic. Though Jay & Jimmy’s male version of Lay-Cool’s act was nothing compared to the horror that was Tamina. Natalya is more or less the voice of The Hart Dynasty, but I do not expect the same from Ms. Snuka. I was a bit surprised the Harts’ attack failed, but this way, the momentum is still on the side of the newcomers.
Zack Ryder didn’t know what he was getting into when Alicia had the idea to go out the ring. The fake-outs with King, Khali and Goldust really drove him crazy. I didn’t suspect Alicia until she dropped the microphone. I have to say, I am a bit surprised Ashton just “lived” in the TitanTron the entire time. He seems like he would have done a better job actually in front of the crowd than some of the other guest hosts have.
I love Sheamus trying to intimidate Edge in the locker room before the main event. The Celtic Warrior has really grown on me in 2010.
Good to see this “this week in WWE history” return to promote I believe the 37th version of WWE 24/7. ;) I remember when JYD died and was nice to seem him remembered.
Should be interesting to see The A-Team cast next week. I can’t say I’m surprised Liam Neeson does not appear to be coming.
Usually when Evan Bourne gets beat up by someone, that is his only segment, so I was just shocked (in a good way) when Cena announced him as his partner. I have been saying for a while that I believe Evan Bourne can be at the level of Rey Mysterio and if this is the first step, I am very excited.
Tamina & the Uso Twins. Cole claimed that Jay (Jules) & Jimmy are Superfly's sons. Wrong. As we know, they're Rikishi's sonsI guess I missed that, but King said they were Rikishi's twin sons when the camera went to the broadcast table.

I would not compare the Uso Twins to Team LayMe-O. These guys drip hip-hop street cred. The sooner they can get them some rent-a-jobber squashes to be established, the better. Have to agree that Tamina needs work on the mic, and badly. Her dad wasn't a genius on the stick, either, but......!

I didn't hear Lawler's part, and it sounded like it was Coleslaw that made the insipid implication.

I agree with you on how great the Daniel Byran segment was, but the rest I totally disagree with. I thought Truth/Jericho was an excellent match, and I loved Evan getting the pin on Sheamus in the tag main event. It also succeeded in getting me excited about next week. So all in all I thought it was a very good show.

Not exactly the same and certainly less annoying, but it reminded me of it.

The only thing I really liked was Daniel Bryan's match with The Miz and having Miz thrown to Michael Cole. Other than that boring Raw.
there were things along raw that were decent to me like seeing Maryse, thats always a good thing to see, and getting to see the Uso's since I didn't see them last week.
now onto Zack Ryder, its no loss in having Alicia Fox betray you, there's always the Bella Twins, who fall for almost anyone.

It's rumored that the director didn't like the jarring switch to 24fps for that segment so he (she?) threw in some cuts to the audience (at the normal 30fps frame rate) to help maintain continuity. Still doesn't explain why they filmed it in 24fps in the first place.
