The cast of Burn Notice.
left to right: Sharon Gless as Madeline Westen, Bruce Campbell as Sam Axe, Jeffrey Donovan as Michael Westen, Gabrielle Anwar as Fiona Glenanne

Plot Synopsis:

Spies don't get fired; they get burned. Michael Westen receives a "burn notice" while on assignment in Nigeria. Dumped in his Miami hometown with no money or resources to his name, Michael works as a freelance spy/private investigator to fund his investigation into who burned him and why. … More (http://www.toonzone.net/forums/#) Burn Notice is produced by FOX Television Studios in association with Fuse Entertainment and filmed on locations in Miami.

The 4th season premiere is this Thursday at 9:00/8:00c.

So is there anyone else besides me who digs this show?

The last season ended in quite the cliffhanger with Michael seemingly alone in an unknown office, presumebly of the mysterious "Management" of the orginization that had him burned.

Burt Reynolds is supposed to quest-star in an upcoming episode, so that should also be fun. :D

I've seen 6 or so episodes from the first two seasons and have enjoyed all of them. But for some reason I just don't have the initiative to become a habitual watcher of the series. Like Leverage on TNT, this is one of those shows where if I notice it's on, I'll watch the episode, but after that it's "out of sight, out of mind."

You should really try to see all of the first season whenever you get the chance, if nothing else. Trust me, it's worth it. :D

Anyone else watching the new season tonight?

I really am surprised that this show doesn't get more discussion around here, this was literally the only thread I could find with "Burn Notice" in the title..

I would call myself a really big fan of the series and I enjoy every episode quite a bit. Is anyone else out there a big fan of this show?

I've tried watching it from time to time because I'm a Bruce Campbell fan, but have never been able to get into it. I just cannot tolerate Jeffrey Donovan. I find him extremely dull, and he is not a good narrator.

Woot finally a Burn Notice thread!!! I have been a huge fan of this show since the first day it started airing. And I have to disagree with you Michael, I think Jeffrey makes for a great narrator. I am always eager to listen to what he has to say. And this season is going pretty slick thus far. I have to admit that Jesse is finally growing on me now since last season where I found his addition to the cast to be a bit jarring.
