Calvin and Hobbes needs our help! (RE: Delaney Poll)

Calvin and Hobbes are up as an option in the Delaney Poll (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26661) this week. Please, if you haven't voted yet, VOTE FOR CALVIN AND HOBBES!

Right now they are neck and neck with Harley and Ivy. Consdering that we have spent the past ten years looking at drawings of Harley and Ivy done in the Timm animated style, why would you want to vote for them! Go to the Bruce Timm Gallery site to see drawings of them! But how many new drawings have we seen of Calvin and Hobbes in the past ten years. Not very many, and ZERO by a Timm animated universe artists such as John Delaney.

So do the right thing and vote for Calvin and Hobbes. They are trailing at the moment, but I know we can get them in the lead!

This is the first time I've really cared about who John Delaney draws. Honestly, I don't even think Ivy's that attractive and anyway we've already had her before. But anyway, not to digress, let's get some support for our favorite kid and his feline friend!

Ok, I am only going to say this once. This is a thread about Calvin and Hobbes. This is a thread to support Calvin and Hobbes in the poll. If you want to support another character, that's cool, but please don't campaign for them in this thread. I hate to sound like a hard ass, but hey, it keeps the thread on topic, and some of these posts are exact repeats of what was already posted on the Comics board.

I am tempted to delete them (the double posts especially), but since I didn't lay any ground rules at the get go, I won't. I guess I thought it was just common courtesy not to campaign for your chacter in somebody else's thread for their character. At least I wouldn't consider posting my support for Calvin and Hobbes on the Green Hornet thread over at the Batman, Superman and Beyond board.

Not trying to ruffle feathers, but the debate is over at the Comics board, not on these extra threads.

I dunno, I have a feeling Ivy and Harl will win. There are those out there who choose to vote last-minute (shame on you), and they usually vote for the "tie-breaker" (again, shame on you! :p)

but, it'd be great if C&H won..
