I just read at www.dvdtoons.com that Warner Bros. will release Scooby-Doo Meets Batman in the summer. Um...alright...

I can imagine what this one is. Didn't Scooby meet Batman TWICE in those Scooby Doo Movies?

I think he did have a couple of guest spots on the show. Any who it would be kinda kewl to add it to the collection, corny as it may be. Who knows, maybe this is just the first step to getting Superfriends on DVD.

Only if a crazed Robin kills Scooby Doo will this one be worth it.

There were 3 appearances of B&R. Two of them had Joker/Penguin(one involving a Fred Flintstone balloon and tree spirits, the other a carnival) and the other had the hooded purple old woman villain. Leave it to them to only include 2 of them.

I think I saw the carnival one, I guess I'll have to get these cause even though it's the corny Batman and Robin, it's the original Scooby Doo.

Well, in my opinion, there are two types of "Universes" in the entertainment world... those that are supposed to be taken seriously (like the Dini/Timm DC Universe, Star Wars, etc.) and those are supposed to be taken lightly (like Scooby Doo, for example).

Thus, Batman & Robin appearing on Scooby Doo is amusing, and worth watching. (And it does NOT count as part of the Dini/Timm DC Universe at all. Period.) However, Scooby Doo appearing on Batman or Justice League would be blasphemy!

In other words, creators shouldn't mess with the serious Universes, but the not-so-serious ones they can goof around with with no harm done. :)

Did you read Dwayne McDuffie's Six Degrees of St.Elsewhere article? It touches on that exact subject and is utterly hilarious. I'll try to find the link to it and put it up here.
