The trailer premieres in about 4 hours, at 12pm (ET). I personally can't wait for it. I saw some snippets of it on Access Hollywood last night and I'm drooling in anticipation. So here's the official talkback thread for it!

I'll put up a link directly to the trailer when it premieres today...can't wait...

Yep, this is one day that 12 noon can't come soon enough :D

Altho I do have a bit of scary news - I was checking out the Spidey Unmasked book about the movie and during the fair guess who guess stars as a guest artist - none other than Macy Gray. Why?!?! Personally I find her voice annoying and am forced to punch buttons on my radio to get her to go away. I'm really hoping either her scene got cut or her music will be at an inaudible level. I also hope she doesn't make the soundtrack as I plan on picking it up and would prefer her name never showed up in my large CD collection.

OMG than was one excellent trailer. I sure as hell can't wait for this movie now. I'm looking forward to this more the Ep2, even though I probably will see both.

I agree - as great as the Episode 2 trailer was I'm looking forward to Spidey more now. I truly can't wait to see this on the big screen.

~I wonder if I can find a way to buy an actually home theater with stadium seating before Spidey is released on DVD so that I can project it onto the screen and only watch it in widescreen. Hmm......

Looks like Sam Riami kept his promise to keep the Twin Towers in the movie. You can see a super quick glimpse of them near the end of the trailer. Here's a screengrab:

Man, I can't wait for this movie. The music in this trailer is also the same music used in that short Super Bowl Ad.

What kills me is how uncanny Spidey in this movie is to his comic-book appearance!
I mean, just LOOK!

A good trailer, though the previous one was better. I'm definitely gonna be checking this movie out.

Yep, tis the greatness of computer generated effects - it looks incredibly real though doesn't it?

This is the second big summer movie whose second trailer is better than it's third. Episode 2's "Forbidden Love" trailer got me more excited about the movie than the latest one.

The new trailer has some cool footage though (swinging through traffic)

Im confused about what I saw in this movie.

Ok, they show little hairs coming out of Peters thumb, then they show him walking up walls using his hands. But can he stick to walls using his feet? And if so how are those hairs coming out of his feet, and through his boots?

What also adds to that is the Awefull Spidey movie poster they have of him scaling the building with just his hands, and his stomach is laying flat against the building, as if his feet can't stick to surfaces.

I hope that's not the case, but still can't see those hairs going through his shoes.

The one thing that is worrying me about this movie is Green Goblin. I know nothing about the character, but in this new trailer there is a very brief bit of laughter fromthe character. It was absolutely horrendous sounding. You're typical evil mustache twirling cackle. If Dafoe plays it Batman and Robin or Tommy Lee Two Face style, God help us all. That cackle cast a tiny amount of fear in me.

If you still can't get the thread to work (which you should - it still works for me) then Comics2Film has some screengrabs of the trailer:

hmm..I voted "Could be Better"...don't get me wrong, I'm still eagerly anticipating this movie, it's just that the trailer wasn't all that impressive.

The swinging through the city and stuff was cool, but we've seen most of it in the other trailers...

but I STILL want to see it.. :)

This trailer was awesome! Although I liked the previous one better, I liked that they shortened it, because Sony is very close to putting too much footage for us to see.

My favorite scenes were:

The short footage of him running across a building. It just looked so cool, and I hope there's more scenes like that in the movie.

The scene where Green Goblin throws the razor thingies, and then Spidey just punches it instead of evading it. :)

The scene where Spidey is on a flagpole, and the camera moves around him , and he leaps off and swings right towards us! That was an incredible CGI scene, and this scene alone pumped me up for more! :D

I think this is the only time I've been awaiting a movie this long. I've been following this movie ever since they were still casting Peter Parker/Spider-Man, and now that it's 6-8 weeks away, it's still a long wait 'till the movie premieres.

I think this trailer's sole purpose was to just show off the special effects. The trailer is filled with them, and they work. My favorite sequence is when we see the back of Spidey's head as he swings into traffic. How great is that gonna be on the big screen? I've been waiting years for this movie, and it's only 5 weeks away...
