Working on getting this rolling today while trying to update my portfolio site. Twitter updates should start feeding in there soon. We'll also take feedback and questions there. Animation-related questions may be answered on the blog.

Eh, why not, decided to join the FaceBook group. Was wondering when there was going to be an official one.

Slight change on the address:
http://www.facebook.com/animationNewsZuh? How'd you change the address? I tried doing that for my blog's FB page a while back and nothing worked.

It's a group and not a page, though, isn't it? There's some distinction between the purpose of the two. I think the group is supposed to be more of a community and the page is supposed have more focus on an entity communicating with its public. Also, a page can have a name and a group cannot. A page can have a name after it has 25 people "like" it.

I half-heartedly googled it because I was annoyed that as "toonzone" I could not find a way "like" your group or Bob Bergen's. Doesn't make sense to me either.

"The Voice Actor Appreciation Society" was created as a group.

In order to do that, you have to create an individual profile as if your page were a person. It's a little odd to do it that way, but I've seen it work for marketing purposes by some retail stores and events.

Yeah, but if you can favorite another page, there should be some simple way to show some love for the groups from your page. Maybe there is and I just haven't found it yet. Lord knows it's not easy to find anything there.
