Hmm, well, I'm not the biggest Power Rangers fan there is, but out of the shows that I saw (I stopped following PR regularly after the first few episodes of In Space--anybody remember that PR/Ninja Turtles crossover?), I would probably say that my favorites were the original Mighty Morphin' and Zeo.
MMPR was the very first Saban PR series, and so that's the one I most closely associate with the franchise as a whole. MMPR is basically the definitive Power Rangers show to me. Also, I liked the characters of Trini and Billy.
As for Zeo, I wasn't too fond of the fact that the original main cast had been seriously dwindling by that time (it also didn't help that Billy, one of my favorite characters, was on the way out either), but I did like the revamped Zeo theme, as well as the concept behind the Zeo Crystals, and I also kind of liked the Machine Empire. Mondo, Machina and Sprocket were no Rita and Zed by any stretch of the imagination, but I liked the concept behind them--plus, I just like robots.
The PR shows after Zeo didn't grab me so much, though Mystic Force seemed like an interesting idea. But then, I also like magic and wizards.

Dinothunder had some really, really, really cool ideas, but it didn't manage to follow through, since the stupid "Tommy get stuck in the costume" storyline at the halfway point made a mess that it never managed to clean up. I stopped watching around LR, though I heard that TF was good, but iS and LG were my faves.

The first season of MMPR will probably always be my favorite. It's the pinnacle of Power Rangers for me. Great footage from Japan mixed with a classic mix of camp and action. Green With Evil is easily better than some action movies out there, IMO. The characters are wonderful, the villains fun, the fight scenes great, the comedy cool, the music epic--it's all great. All SIXTY episodes of it!
Zeo is probably my second favorite season. Once again, epic music, great fight footage, menacing villains, a cool upgrade in tech (Power Chamber, zords, etc.). Great characters all around, including the return of Jason. MMPR2 and MMPR3 come right after Zeo for me.
Ninja Storm is another great season to me, in that it comes fairly close to capturing that MMPR feel with a mix of action/drama and camp. Dino Thunder is another good one: Tommy returns, mostly appealing characters, good action. Heck, SPDs pretty good too.
Turbo isn't unwatchable, but its pretty bad, IMO. The replacing of so many characters (including the mind-boggling decision to replace Zordon and Alpha with two of the most annoying characters on the good side of Power Rangers history). Justin was a pretty "Oh, come on!" decision too. But, that's just me.
And, speaking of an even more likely "just me." I never cared for Time Force. Was too serious for my tastes, and just didn't grab me. Didn't like Mystic Force much either. Operation Overdrive was...meh.
I haven't seen enough of In Space/Lost Galaxy/Wild Force/Lightspeed Rescue to judge. Never seen RPM.

I gotta say that I liked In Space and Time Force the most. The former for serving as a pretty good end to the initial six years, and the latter for having a tinge of gray in a franchise that plays the whole black and white morality trope painfully straight.

From Mighty Morphing Power Rangers to SPD was good, everything else sucked.
I thought Jungle Fury could make a comeback for me but it didn't.

Mighty Morphin' was the best because of the Green Ranger. 'Nuff said.
I initially stopped watching after PRiS, which was a great way to end the series. I just couldn't get into the seasons that followed.
I did, however, watch the Forever Red special. And I did return for Tommy in Dino Thunder, which was surprisingly good. And I returned for Adam's appearance in Once A Ranger.

Power Rangers... Wow that takes me back. I remember getting up at I think 7a.m (might've been 6) to watch that whole block (except Sailor Moon) back then.
Anyway, I stopped watching after Turbo. It's like after Tommy left, it wasn't even worth watching anymore.
1. MMPR (Didn't Ninjor come along in this one?)
2. Zeo
3. Turbo

Yeah Ninjor debuted in season 3 when they got the new zords.(Better than the explanation in the movie) I suggest that everyone should check out Linkara's blog, he is doing a season by season review of power rangers.

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers - The original and still the best.
Power Rangers in Space - Astronema/Karone. Nuff Said! (Melody Perkins was a hottie in that series)
Lost Galaxy - Double the hotness factor with more Melody as Karone and the addition of Cerina Vincent as Maya
Time Force - A Power Rangers series with a villain (Ransik) whose daughter is a Rangerverse version of Jem (Nadira, with the pink hair)
Space Patrol Delta - Other than the futuristic setting, one thing it had going for it was Dr. Katherine Manx as the Orange Cat Ranger.
RPM - A show that contained a hottie nerd (Olivia Tennet as Dr. K), a hottie Yellow Ranger (Rose McIver as Summer), and a hottie villainess (Adelaide Kane as Tenaya 7/15), not to mention the single funniest Green Ranger in Ziggy!

RPM will forever be my favorite series. Even more than the originals. I think everyone should watch it even if you're not really a Rangers fan.

R.P.M. and Ninja Storm are generally my favorites, and I actually tend to dislike the original the most.

I liked Power Rangers Season 1 all the way to Time Force. Even Turbo which a lot of people didn't like. I really need to see some of the other seasons because I missed a few of them.

Well from what I've seen...
Best:
Power Rangers Zeo - Good villains and a rock solid lineup, it only loses luster in that it lacks some of the epic scope of earlier seasons.
Mighty Morhpin Power Rangers Season 2 - Zedd is awesome, also Tommy coming back as the white ranger. Is it really no suprise that a lot of episodes on people's best ever lists stem from this season?
MMPR 1 - Just classic
In Space - Maybe a little too epic.
Worst:
Power Rangers Turbo - Second team is arguably the worst in Power Rangers history.
MMPR Season 3/Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers: This is mostly due to way too many story archs overpowering what was essentially a very short season. "Hog Day Afternoon" however is a masterpiece so I can't complain too much.

It really expanded the Rangerverse, which was part of what made ZEO so cool. Even though they had new Sentai footage, they committed to the old as well as the new.
MMPR 1 - Just classicThe Green Ranger. My childhood hero.
In Space - Maybe a little too epic.A great finale for the continuous Rangerverse.
Power Rangers Turbo - Second team is arguably the worst in Power Rangers history.
The whole season is a mess. It's obvious that none of the ZEO actors wanted to be around anymore, the over-the-top cartoony nature of the Sentai footage was clashing with anything that they wanted to do, the Phantom Ranger storyline never paid off, the Blue Centurion was annoying, the Zords were cars, Justin was annoying, and the team as a whole simply didn't work very well.
MMPR Season 3/Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers: This is mostly due to way too many story archs overpowering what was essentially a very short season. "Hog Day Afternoon" however is a masterpiece so I can't complain too much.I did like how it really stared to expand things and introduce new elements (Aquatar, Master Vile, etc.).
Continuity nerd that I am, I can't help but feel that after LG, the show lost some of its epic sweep by making each season largely self-contained.

Prime Power Rangers for me was anything past the first season (or at least after the Green Ranger was introduced) and before Turbo. Turbo is when I lost interest in the series and never really watched anything after that. Mostly from a combination of growing out of Power Rangers at that point and I think it was kinda dumb how they had some kid join them as the new Blue Ranger.

Best:
In Space - The original grand finale, plus a slew of mini-arcs and ties to past events. It also benefits from the Turbo team getting a whole season beforehand to star in, because a lot of the story was dedicated to Andros and the search for his sister.
RPM - It's set up as the real grand finale to the franchise, and despite a few shortcomings, does a fine job as the final season. The cast is once again older and more down to earth and the focus on Dillon helps it stand out from the red Ranger centric Kalish seasons.
Lightspeed Rescue - Sure its mostly a direct translation of GoGoV, but I thought the idea of adult city defenders working for a not so secret program was a great new take on the concept. It also helps that it stars the first completely American made ranger.
Time Force - Used to be higher, but it's lost some luster after learning about the backstage disagreements among the crew, as well as realizing half the season is just Timeranger translated. I still greatly enjoyed the more serious take on the universe though.
Turbo2 - That's the second half with TJ's team. It was my introductory series so it holds a close spot to me. Plus, upon rewatching it, it felt like a nice throwback to the first season of Mighty Morphin', and they made better use of the Carranger footage than the first half did.
Worst:
Operation Overdrive - Completely forgettable. It also had a disgraceful 15th Anniversary episode that featured mostly recent rangers and more continuity holes than Forever Red.
Jungle Fury - Another forgettable season with an annoying theme song, the worst Red Ranger ever and some goofy dialogue.
Mighty Morphin S2 - The footage editing in this season is a total nightmare, and aside from Zedd's debut and Tommy's return, completely uninspiring. S3 was a great step up from this thankfully enough.
Mystic Force - This one and SPD had very similar problems, but SPD was at least salvaged by a good cast and some awesome fight scenes. Mystic Force lacks both and soon the show devolves into a one man show featuring a guy who didn't deserve half the benefits given to him.
Wild Force - I liked Cole and his subplot with Master Org, but that's not enough to save this season. The gratuitous CGI was hard to look at, and the acting is downright terrible. Doesn't help that 90% of the show was Gaoranger scripts translated either.

Agreed with the positive aspects listed, but disagreed on it lacking. I think Jindrax and Toxica had many enjoyable moments (really wish they kept their final scene in the series). Plus, Reinforcements From The Future makes for the best team up overall (especially with the disappointment of Trakeena's Revenge and Time For Lightspeed).

Well, Jindrax and Toxica had some good chemistry, but for the most part, they felt useless and tacked on. Honestly, a villain like Master Org seems way too serious to have a jester and a...whatever she was hanging around his base cracking jokes.
Also, agreed on the team-ups, but those are a given anyway. Seems lots of people only watched Wild Force for the team-ups.

Sniffles.:crying:
Just wanted to apologize to all those RPM fans out there.
I was ignorant. At the ripe age of "19", I thought power rangers was beneath me, and Kamen Rider: DK's serious tone was the way of the future...
That was 2 years ago. Periodically over the past couple of months, I've rekindled my thirst for spandex monster bashing with Samurai. Found a lil time on my hands, so I picked up where I left off in RPM: Ep 3.
This show is friggin amazing.
I'm not one to critque, but the writing, story, action sequences, jokes....they all just blend so seamlessly. Also, the jokes about PR cliques,(explosions in background, witty one-liners, etc) are spot on. Hehe. The megazords are kinda...meh, but the out of ranger form fights are way more fun to watch than before. They just look more "realistic"? Like fight scenes out of a movie. Just finished ep 9, and this show is awesome. So once again, I apologize for dissing any RPM fans. Not cool of me, and I can't wait to see what happens next :anime:.
Ya done good Disney. This season is going right up there in my top 3 (Time Force, Ninja Storm, and "RPM".
