The two actors who sound just like their character (Conroy: Batman, Daly: Superman) but which actor is better?

Batman and Superman are two totally different characters. Kevin Conroy does a great job voicing Batman and Tim Daly did a great job voicing Superman. IMO, you can't even compare the two.

I'd go with Conroy just because I like the character of Batman better, but CAPED CRUSADER is right - they're both excellent and so different, you can't really compare the two.

I'd easily go with Conroy since I favor Batman over Superman. But, when you think about it, it's almost impossible to compare them. Daly could never do Batman's voice, and Conroy could never do Batman's. They're great at the parts they're doing, and based on that, I'd have to say that they're equal.

Um Barb, don't you mean that Conroy could never do SUPERman's voice?

Well anyway, if the question is which brings their respective characters to life better, I would have to vote "tie" if that was a choice. Because they match their characters perfectly.

Hey Barb, minor typo there but we'll forgive you
;-)

They're both great for their respective roles.
Unlike the rest of the board, I've already gotten used to Newburn's voice.

But the best of them all is Mark Hamill. No crack on Tim Curry, but I'm glad they chose Hammy. Casting the Joker was just as important as finding the voice for the Bat. Face it, if they'd botched Joker's voice, the show would've tanked.

wait a second, who says who "we'll" forgive her. i absolutely will not. a mistake of this magnitude should not be taken lightly and i will not take this sitting down or standing up. Barb needs to write: "Conroy voiced Batman and Daly voiced Superman" at least a hundred times. only then will i consider forgiving her but don't count on it. it sounds harsh but a lesson needs to dealt and learned. who's with me?

I have a question.......

Why do you guys like posting topics like this? Does it really matter? I know I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but i just have to know. whats the fascination w/ these types of questions??? I've been noticing a lot of threads like this.

Well steven what greater place than a place like this to pose a question that means pretty much nothing, besides good conversation about something of interest, like Batman and Superman.

And further more, I ponder silly things alot, but for the most part there really isnt anyone in my life beyond this board that would put serious thought into any questions I have about Batman, and no one in real life I know of would take the topic seriously, unless your in a comic book shop.

So this is a Perfect place.

believe it or not, that was calm. if i was really cruel, i would force Barb to watch Pokemon, Digimon, Monster Rancher, and Mon Colle Knights for 24 hours straight while using music from Britney Spears, NSync, and BSB as muzak.

Hey, Barb, talk about a Freudian slip! Now we know how you really feel about Conroy's voice acting abilities.. ;) :D

You're right, though. It's almost impossible to compare them. They voice such totally different characters. I may be more of a Supes fan, but I'd have to say it's a tie. As you stated, I agree- they're equal.
