Okay, im a bit confused, on the news page "legends" air dates are listed and a brief summary is provided. NOW, wasnt legends supose to be the SEASON FINALE and a THREE parter??? did i miss something big or something?
plus in the summary it says only John, HG, GL, and flash go to the alternated dimension. werent ALL seven of the JL members going to be in these eps??
it seems some serious changes have gone down, cause i could have sworn that it was confirmed a long time ago that itd be a 3 parter and have all 7 and end the season. so what happened??
also, since were supose to get a second 3-parter this season, does this mean that a different arc will be extended for another ep? and if so, could it be "injustice for all" is that arc, explaining it's delay?? please say its so!!!! i just dont know if i can wait to see it, hopefully itll air over the summer and not in the fall, which would suck. peace.

There have been scheduling... difficulties..., but the Season finale will still be the same: The Savage Time. This episode will be a 3-parter and contain all the leaguers, as well as Vandal Savage as their immortal opponent. Legends is the story arc after Fury. And Injustice for All has been delayed big time, but, even if they choose to make it the season finale for some reason, it'll still be a 2 parter.
For more info, check out Toonzone's own JL site: here (http://www.toonzone.net/shows/justiceleague/)

Very early on, this episode was said to be a possible season finale. The reason why was because they were still fighting for the rights of the Justice Society of America. But since they didn't get them, they did the show as a regular two-parter and changed the team to Justice Guild of America. This all happened at the end of last year. The series finale was announced beforehand as the Vandal Savage three parter, and they were stilling fighting for the rights of JSA hoping maybe they could get it still. But they failed. "The Savage Time" will be the series finale, and that's that.
My question about the rights is this. What JSA members were they trying to get exactly? Because, if you ask me they should have gotten at least, Jay Garrick Flash and Alan Scott Green Lantern. If most of the characters were older versions of the characters that exist on the show, they already have the rights. Seeing how DC and WB owns them.
Of course characters like Hourman, Wildcat, Red Tornado, and Sandman probably are not. But jeez, they couldn't get the Atom or Black Canary?

A lot of that is based on fan speculation and fan misinformation.
At no point did Timm and company ever say that the JSA/JGA story arc was going to be a three-parter and/or the season finale. It was just an earnest hope of a lot of fans. Eventually, that prediction started to circulate as a fact, but was never anything more than speculaion. The same thing happened early on w/ "Injustice for All."
As far as the whole "rights to the JSA" thing goes, that wasn't a case of legal rights to the use of the characters, but a creative and editorial decision made by DC Comics. DC did not want the JSA to be portrayed in the way Timm and co. were planning. So the animation team decided to use the same storyline with their own characters, hence the JGA, Dr. Blizzard, etc.
Chances are, if the JL producers had pitched an entirely different idea to DC about how they intended to use the JSA in the show, DC may have had no objections and given them the go-ahead, and we would be watching the real thing next month on TV. I guess the JL team wanted to tell their story though, so now we'll never know.
As far as which JSA characters Timm wanted to use, I have a feeling that the original story is still intact, just the names and costumes have been changed. That would mean that we would have seen The Golden Age Flash, the Golden Age GL, the Golden Age Atom, Wildcat, and Black Canary along with The Icicle, Sportsmaster and The Fiddler.
Just hoping to clear a few things up.

That sounds about right. But I'll tell you one thing, if Legends sucks, I am going to be very mad, because now they can't use the real JSA on the series for continuity reasons. Although they can use individual characters. I just gotta see what DC didn't want those characters to be involved with. I mean, how bad could it be?

It's more the fact that the Justice Guild isn't as "goody-goody" as they appear to the public and DC didn't want people watching JL:TAS associating bad qualitys with the iconic characters featured in the current JSA. Personally the idea of new characters is always fun and I'm really looking forward to seeing this arc.

Dang, why would they want to tarnish the JSA's image? That's dumb.
You Know, I WOULD NOT MIND, if they just scrapped this episode, and started working on another one, and get the approval to use the real JSA next season. It's almost Bothersom that, DCU is filled with Heroes, and this Show is wasting time making new one's.
And this is just the first season of JL. Why should they even meet older Heores than themselves? It just seems rushed. They should scrap it. Make it a lost episode.

Actually, Joe, it's the opposite -- sort of. The Justice Guild are too "goody-goody" -- to the point of being a little ridiculous and campy. One would think DC doesn't want to be reminded of this "old" version of the JSA now that they've made the group cool and hip again -- if one didn't know better. Them DC guys actually like to reminisce about the old days of daring-do...

Frankly, I'm against making JL a giant open-house party. The best part of B:TAS and S:TAS was that we weren't subjected to every single villain and hero ever created - just the necessary ones - the cooler ones that could be revamped and improved upon.
Justice League hasn't even established all of their main characters yet, and I really would prefer to know what's up with Hawkgirl than get introduced to some pretend-JSA. Besides, there are enough heroes and villains as it is. If they bring too many in, the show loses any sort of realistic perspective. Sure, it's fun to see our favorite comic characters appear in Timm-style on screen....but Dr. Blizzard? puhleez!

I see- I had just inferred from the release that they had to have some evil because it says John discovers something about the league that may not support his childhood beliefs that they are "goody, goody".
