i blame every one of those other actors with the downfall of the bat franchise on the big screen. (okay michael keaton was pretty cool in the first one). let's hope frank miller's batman year one takes off and relaunches bats as the silver screen icon he should be.

I too vote Kevin Conroy! He's the best man that has filled the mantle of the Bat. Besides, he is the voice I hear when reading my Batman filled comics. All hail Kevin Conroy!!!!

Kevin Conroy, no contest. He was my first Batman, and is still my only Batman. None of the others (including Michael Keaton, my second choice) come close. Not only is his voice perfect, he brings real emotion into the part and makes Batman human. He doesn't play him up like Superman in a mask like Kilmer, or make him a clown like Clooney, or go overboard on Bat-Demon like Keaton. He always takes Batman seriously, recognizes that he's a human being, and plays him accordingly. Whatever the material--whether it's Oscar-quality or fluff--he makes it good. That takes real talent. Conroy is Batman.

My "favorite batman" isn't actually batman, its will fredie or whoever played terry. However, with the official batmans there is no doubt about it, Keven Conroy wins.

EDIT: However, George Clooney and some of the other ones were good actors who were well suited to play batman, but they had varying difficulties, like bad scripts.
