Getting
-Deadpool #25
-Ultimate Comics Avengers 2 #5: So now this is only six issues? And apparently there’s a vol. 3 with Vampires coming, too. Just make one series, man.
-Avengers #3: Now that I know New Avengers is coming back, with a team I like, this had better wow me if I’m going to keep getting it.
-New Avengers #2: Messing with magic in Marvel. By Bendis. Ooooh, fanboys are gonna be aaaaangry.
-Captain America #608
-Daredevil #508: Not looking forward to Shadowland. Hopefully I can just read Daredevil like I already do and just go with it.

May Get/Not Getting But Worth Note
-Marvelman Classic vol. 1 Premiere HC/Marvelman Family’s Finest #1: Really unsure here. It’s not the “must have” run on the comic, but it makes sense to start with the beginning and work up. The mini sounds nice, since it’s a recap sort of thing but doesn’t require you to spend $35 on black and white reprints. Not sure here.
-Astonishing X-Men: Xenogenesis #3: Shame I have no interest in this series, since they’ve all had some pretty fun covers so far (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/marvelcomics/201007/11_ASTONISHING_X_MEN__XENOGENESIS_3.jpg).
-X-Campus #2 (of 4): Wait. Wasn’t this only two issues last month? I was tempted on it with only two, but now with 4, and at $5 a pop still, it’s trade wait. If it’s good.
-X-Men Origins: Deadpool #1: Grrrr. Dang it, Marvel. The “Origins” one-shots are usually pretty good, but come on! More Deadpool? And a supposed origin when “Wade Wilson’s War” is telling that exact story right now? Seriously?
-Amazing Spider-Man #638 & 639: “And Now, On Our Next Installment Of: How To Make Fanboys Want To Kill An Editor.”
-Amazing Spider-Man Presents: American Son #3 (of 4): Yep. The covers still rock (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/marvelcomics/201007/7_AMAZING_SPIDER_MAN_PRESENTS__AMERICAN_SON_3.jpg). 3 for 4 so far.
-Secret Avengers #3: We now know the line-up! And…..meh. It’s Brubaker. It’s Cap. But that’s about it, and I don’t need an extra $4 a month out of my wallet.
-Shadowland #1: And here comes that “Street Level Heroes” crossover that was rumored. With, of course, Spider-Man and Wolverine taking center stage, despite this spinning out of Daredevil.
-Hit Monkey #1 (of 3): I liked him in Deadpool. Liked the one-shot. May trade wait on this.
-Steve Rogers: Super Soldier #1: Man, this looks awesome. And I will read it. But it being a mini makes me really want to wait for the trade. But it looks so awesome.
-X-Men: The Heroic Age #1: So having Molly on the cover pretty much kills all hope of Runaways coming back, huh?

On the "gonna get it" list:

Astonishing Spider-Man/Wolverine #2: I'm giving it a shot. Not sure if I like it being bi-monthly though...
Marvel Her-oes #4: This series looks so fun...
Avengers, Thor, Captain America: Official Index to the Marvel Universe #3
The Thanos Imperative #2
PunisherMax #9

On the "maybe I'll get it, maybe I won't" list:

Amazing Spider-Man 638 and 639: I'm fairly intrigued into how Marvel's going to explain what happened to the Spidey marriage...though I'd feel better if Joe Quesada wasn't personally writing it. At least when Jim Shooter ordered Claremont to kill Jean Grey, he didn't take over and write it himself.

On the "I'll read it when it gets added to the Marvel Digital Website" list:

Astonishing X-Men: Xenogenesis #3
Avengers: The Children's Crusade #1: You're about 4 years too late, Heinberg...
Amazing Spider-Man #637
Amazing Spider-Man presents: Black Cat #2
Amazing Spider-Man presents: American Son #3
Web of Spider-Man #10
Spider-Man/Fantastic Four #1
Peter Parker #5: Okay, I guess this really is a 2nd title to the "three times a month" Amazing Spider-Man! (wait, or is it 3rd title, due to Web of Spider-Man?!? Geez, Spider-Man's giving Deadpool a run for his money...)
Avengers #3: Oh no, Bendis, what have you done...*curls up into fetal position*
Avengers Academy #2
New Avengers #2
Secret Avengers #3
Age of Heroes #3
Black Widow #4
Atlas #3
Darkstar and the Winter Guard #2
Captain America #608
Death of Dracula #1: Ummm...sounds different...
Shadowland #1
Daredevil #508
Dark Wolverine #88: Ah man, it crosses over with that "Franken-castle" crap...
Gorilla Man #1
Fantastic Four #581
Vengeance of the Moon Knight #10
World War Hulks: Spider-Man vs Thor #1: ...the hell?!? (http://i.newsarama.com/images/127_world_war_hulks_spider_man_thor_1_02.jpg)
World War Hulks: Wolverine vs Captain America #1: This is getting silly... (http://i.newsarama.com/images/129_world_war_hulks_wolverine_captain_america_1_02.jpg)

My comments:

- I'm very on the fence about the Marvelman stuff. Maybe when it hits trade.

- I'm in for the Spider-Man/Fantastic Four mini-series when it hits trade. I really liked the Spider-Man/X-Men mini that they did before.

- Yay, the Young Avengers are back, even if I'm probably going to be waiting a LOOOOONG time for that TPB based on how fast Allan Heinberg tends to write and Jim Cheung tends to draw. And let's hope this is the Young Avengers Allan Heinberg and not the Wonder Woman reboot Allan Heinberg.

- Another one I'm waiting on the trade for, but a Gorilla-Man mini-series is proof that Marvel will do at least some things right by me.

- Is Thor the Mighty Avenger a Marvel Adventures comic or a brave new direction for the character or what? I like Roger Langridge and the covers have a neat retro vibe to them.

- I must admit a certain morbid and prurient curiosity means I'm probably going to pre-order X-Women, even though I know it isn't going to be the best work of either Chris Claremont OR Milo Manara.

- Huh. Matt Fraction is bringing Casanova to Marvel's ICON line. Yeah, sure, I'm in.

- I was kind of hoping to get the Dark Phoenix saga in an Uncanny X-Men Omnibus Edition Volume 2, which I'd be willing to shell out the cash to buy. Don't know about that dedicated Dark Phoenix Saga HC, even though it seems like it's essentially the UXM Omnibus Vol. 2 with a tiny bit of overlap.

- Definitely grabbing the Agents of Atlas Vs. Premiere HC.

- Er, I'd go for that Invincible Iron Man HC, but I don't think I have vols 2 or 3...

- If nothing else, the Women of Marvel: Celebrating Seven Decades TPB has got a killer cover to it, and I'm not just saying that because it has Alan Davis-drawn Molly Hayes on it.

- Speaking of Molly Hayes and seeing that Runaways: Parental Guidance TPB is a good excuse to say that Marvel's strategy of putting out Runaways in every single format they can think of has finally succeeded, since I bought Runaways: Homeschooling in both HC and TPB and didn't realize it until my latest comic shipment arrived. Also probably the last Runaways story I'm getting for a while, 'cuz I don't find it's as cool as when BKV was writing it.

Well, that should be easy, because "Homeschooling" ends Runaways unless Marvel brings it back. Again.

Have you read it yet? Because, personally, I loved it. The Whedon stuff was kinda "Meh" and the Moore stuff was friggin' terrible, but I felt that Immonen really got the characters voices down. Shame her run was cut short.

I'll be giving the new X-Men title a try and I will be continuing on with pretty much anything revolving around the "core" Marvel Universe such as ASM, Avengers, Moon Knight, Iron Man and Thor, other than that not a whole lot excited me about Marvel. I may actually give the newer Marvel Adventures line a shot too, I liked some of the Avengers, FF and Spidey tales from the previous Marvel Adventures so I don't see why I should exclude the newer titles that have been recently released.

DEADPOOL #25
DEADPOOL: MERC WITH A MOUTH #13 - Following this one through to the end, which is this. Nice cover (http://i.newsarama.com/images/33_deadpool_merc_with_a_mouth_13_01.jpg).
ULTIMATE COMICS AVENGERS 2 #5 - Wow, while the conclusion to volume one has only just recently come out, they're almost soliciting the conclusion to volume two. And this is "Ultimates" we're talking about here. Something smells fishy.
ULTIMATE COMICS SPIDER-MAN #12 - Ultimate Chameleon?
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #637 - Kraven and Kaine? "Inneresting..."
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #638 & #639 - Joe Quesada on the AMZ creative team... let's prepare ourselves for something controversial  I am at least digging that cover (http://i.newsarama.com/images/5_amazing_spider_man_639_02.jpg), though.
SPECTACULAR SPIDER-GIRL #3
WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #10 - I'm going to have to re-evaluate buying this title now that Spider-Girl has left it for her own book... I enjoy the "villain of the month from the main title" back-stories every issue, but the main reason for picking it up really was Mayday.
NEW AVENGERS #2 - "Oh no they di-unt" just use that sentence in the solicitation text.
DAREDEVIL #508 - Classic Daredevil VS Bullseye, yeah :)
Punisher #19 - I am NOT going to be calling this book "Franken-Castle", ugh. That is one rematch I am psyched to see though! Love the cover (http://i.newsarama.com/images/43_franken_castle_19_02.jpg) as well.
THUNDERBOLTS #146

--- Maybe / random comments ----------
ULTIMATE COMICS NEW ULTIMATES #3 - Still steering clear of this for three reasons: 1) its title  2) one Ultimates book is more than enough 3) Jeph Loeb doing Ultimates.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN PRESENTS: AMERICAN SON #3 - There hasn't been enough Harry in the main title for a while!
AVENGERS #3 - I've enjoyed all of the Avengers books that Bendis has done so far and Romita JR on pencils should make this a high-quality book, but I'm just not that into "classic" Avengers... wait, what?? Spider-Girl is in this!?
SECRET AVENGERS #3 - The solicitation text holds nothing that piques my interest, which is too bad considering this is another book with a strong creative team.
HIT-MONKEY #1 - There is no way this character is popular enough to warrant his own mini-series
MARVEL ZOMBIES 5 #1 - I feel like I'm finally losing interest in this franchise [about two years after everyone else :p] and the first issue of this mini-series bored me to death. But it had Howard the Duck in the final panels and judging from this cover he'll be in it throughout. And that almost manages to redeem the book for me ;)
