Now that Jerry Beck has enlightened us about the sorry (and quite frightening I might add) state of the pre-48 cartoons, I now realize that it will take a vvvvvvvveeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyy long time to get those in a quality DVD collection. But what about the post-48 cartoons? They could (I'm guessing) easily clean those cartoons up. The most important thing to do would be to replace the Blue Ribbon cards, that would be easy because (again I'm guessing) those negatives are probably in better condition than those for the pre-48's.
