Who is your absolute favorite James Bond? A few years back, I believe Celebrity Death Match put on a "Sean Connery VS. Roger Moore" fight. I think Roger Moore won. Granted..Roger WAS a great Bond..but, I must say Sean is my personal fav. But then, of course..there was James Bond Jr... :p

Sean Connery of course. He was the only man that could tame Pussy Galore :p :D ;)

Despite the fact that my mom named me after the maker of the James Bond stories ('Ian' Flemming), I'm not too much a fan of oldschool Bond. Sean was awesome, no doubt, and had some of the most epic villains of the Bond movies. But my fave is Pierce Brosnan. He really does look, act, and sound the overly charming British gentlemen pimp, and has had some great over-the-top action sequences so far. I still can't get over Goldeneye! Now, if he had a real 'Bond woman' and villain (although 006 rocked!), he'd be the best without a doubt!

Even though he only did two movies I love him none the less, I'm going for Dalton. He hasn't done any good movies since Bond.
But I have to know who is James Bond Jr.?????

My fav--Licence to Kill, shark food bad guys, amazing opening, and Bendicto Del Toro.
Living Daylights was great too, especially the opening.

Pierce Brosnan!!!!!!

Every since 'Remington Steele' I have been totally in love with him. When they first announced many, many years ago that he was to be James Bond I about went nuts. Then when #$@& NBC played their little power play with his contract, keeping him from doing it, I was devistated.

He IS James Bond. It took almost 15 years but he finally made it.

'Goldeneye' rocked, 'Tomorrow Never Dies' was passable, and 'The World Is Not Enough' was great. (A little Bond trivia - in 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service', Bond goes to a geneologist to have his lineage traced. On the Bond family coat of arms is a latin phrase, the family motto: The world is not enough.)

Can't wait for the next one.

Sean.

They are all great in their own way, but Sean does a cool job and has the best stories.

That said I'm a BIG Pierce fan - I loved Remington Steele, LOVED Thomas Crown Affair and even the dull Volcano movie was spiced up by his presence - as was Mars Attacks.

The World Is Not Enough was a perfect mix of old and new Bond and I hope the next will continue the tradition.

Saying that, Russia With Love, Goldfinger and You Only Live Twice are some of my favourite storys - with a solid lead as Mr Connery.

It's a VERY close call..!

Connery was the best Bond (the only one that was Scottish, like Bond was supossed to be), but my favorite Bond is definetly Brosnan.

Connery is the quintissential 007, no doubt, but it seems Roger Moore had the most fun.

I voted Connery because he pretty much defined Bond as much as Bond defined Connery.

Also, I wonder if any of you could shed light on an old Hollywood story I heard once. The story is that one of the guys they contacted before Connery for the original Dr. No Bond role was Steve "Hercules" Reeves, who turned the role down due to prior commitments. Think how different Bond would be with Reeves in the role.

Heh, basically it was a late 80's, early 90's syndicated cartoon trying to capture the childrens cartoon market using the popular Bond character, but not quite Bond himself.
The story goes: James Bond, having has many mistresses, "axcidently"(Even though they dont admit it) has a kid. The mother(no one knows which one) names him James Bond....Jr. Taking after his father, he's somewhat of a teen-secret-agent(Think "Spy Kids" in High School). Sure, he has suped up cars & gadgets, but to top it off, in his high-class preppy high school(or is it a college? I forget now?), he gains a friend named...you guessed it "I.Q."(hmm..wonder what that might be in relation to..). IQ makes all of Jr.'s new gadgets & stuff. So, when the REAL Bond is out saving the world & shagging, James Bond Jr. takes on modern versions of characters like Jaws...heh...

I liked it, anyways. ;)

Speaking of Jaws...maybe we should do a "Best Bond Villian" poll?

I voted for the current Bond, Pierce Brosnan. I'll be honest I haven't had much of an interest in the older movies so the Brosnan ones are the only complete movie I've seen. I think he just great as 007 though, and I have a magnet of him on my 'IN/OUT' board.

Goldfinger
He's the man, the man with the midas touch.
A spider's touch,
Such a cold finger.
Beckons you to enter his web of sin,
But don't go in.

Golden words he will pour in your ear,
But his lies can't disguise what you fear,
For a golden girl knows when he's kissed her,
It's the kiss of death from

Mister Goldfinger.
Pretty girl, beware of this heart of gold.
This heart is cold.

Golden words he will pour in your ear,
But his lies can't disguise what you fear,
For a golden girl knows when he's kissed her,
It's the kiss of death from

Mister Goldfinger.
Pretty girl, beware of this heart of gold.
This heart is cold.

He loves only gold.
Only gold.
He loves gold.
He loves only gold.
Only gold.
He loves gold.

Roger MOore was who I grew up with. Never seemed to have the slick sexuality of Bond - more like a dirty uncle.... especially as he got older and his wiggy got bigger..

Connery was the first and the best, a better question would be whosse second best. Which I would give the nod to Brosnan.
