Okay, granted they didn't even Maurice Noble a mention, but still . . .
You know, it strikes me funny that when they showed clips about each actor/actress/director/cinematographer, they showed their quality of theatrical work. When they showed Carroll O'Connor last night in the "In Memorium" segment, they didn't show any clips of him as Archie Bunker.
Now, call me crazy, but for William Hanna, shouldn't they have shown clips from the Oscar-winning Tom and Jerry shorts? Instead, they showed clips from The Flintstones and Scooby-Doo. I know that they've inspired a pair of ill-fated live-action adaptations, but come on! Tom and Jerry were Academy darlings for the longest time in the 40s. At least they could have acknowledged that.
