Went to Wal-Mart yesterday, hoping to find the new version of 1,001 Rabbit Tales and the Hanna-Barbera DVD. And I didn't find either!! They did have the H-B "Cartoon Crack Ups" on video and also a new WHV video version of The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones (actually, it was billed on the video box as The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones: The Movie).
Anyway, they also had a lot of Warner Home Video titles for only $5.88 each. The bulk of which were mediocre-to-poor live action movies... but I found mixed among the copies of National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1 and other titles of that ilk... were FIVE brand new, sealed copies of Porky Pig Tales !! Don't know if all Wal-Marts got the same selection or not, but if you don't have the PPT video (which includes uncut "Dog Pounded" and the very rare "China Jones")... I guess it wouldn't hurt to check the local Wal-Mart.

I already have the video any way. :D Also, I think you mean "Dog Collared", not "Dog Pounded", which is a Sylvester and Tweety cartoon from 1954.

Thanks Jon! I went out soon after reading your post, went to WalMart, had finished thoroughly scanning the video bin and was wondering whether I should dig through it like a gopher or give up when I saw a copy on the floor! Woohoo! I can't wait to see China Jones!

If anyone's wondering, I got that one LT 3-Pack, with PIG TALES and BUGS BUNNY'S HARE-RAISING TALES and DAFFY DUCK'S MADCAP MANIA.

Also, PPT has China Jones with the uncut ending (Daffy working at ironing shirts in Porky's laundry)! I never knew it was cut when it used to run on Nick.

Are these at regular Wal-Marts, or the Super Wal-Marts (with a grocery store attached). My regular Wal-Mart stinks....

I spotted those Porky videos at a Super Wal-Mart. I haven't been to the regular Wal-Mart in the area to see if they got the same selection (sometimes they do, sometimes they don't). If you need a copy Jack, I could always pick one up for you the next time I am out. Send me a private message, if you like.

With plans to spend a large amount of money on eBay, I can't afford to buy a tape for only one cartoon.:o
