Who are you favorite Cartoon Network characters? Please give reasons and have a good discussion so this thread doesn't get closed. Thank you.
My favorite Cartoon Network characters are...
Cartoon Network Original Show Character:
*Flapjack from The Marvelous Misadventures Of Flapjack. I like Flapjack because I see he is full of adventure and is enthusiastic about everything. He likes to have fun and his personality makes me smile. I like people with adventerous, yet kind personalities.
Cartoon Network Aquisition Character:
*Nikki Wong from 6teen. I like Nikki because she has the mean yet nice personality. She can be mean to people that deserve it, but she also sticks up for her friends when they face problems. I love how she is tough and she is sometimes like a typical girl (liking a band like DawgToy).

The cast of Ed, Edd and Eddy obviously, followed by (in no particular order) Mojo Jojo, DeeDee, Billy (from Billy and Mandy), Johnny Bravo and The Red Guy.

I would have to go with the Powerpuff Girls - they are a testament to female characters being able to sustain a show (and indeed an entire franchise) WITHOUT being the sexed-up eye-candy that most female leads in popular media essentially boil down to (be it Barbie or Wonder Woman or a contemporary Disney Channel starlet).
The girls were able to retain their femininity and their innocence despite being no-nonsense crime-fighters.
They actually LEARNED AND GREW from their experiences, and the way they worked through their issues as siblings was very realistic and relatable.
Lynda Carter's WW pilot in the 70s had a monologue about "sisterhood" being "stronger than anything" - which struck me as painfully forced and hokey - but when applied to the POWERPUFF GIRLS, it sounds like an irrefutable maxim. :)
Tied with them, as my Cartoon Network Favourites, would be DEE DEE from Dexter's Lab (and by extension, her friends Lee Lee and Mee Mee) - for completely different reasons, obviously :P - not only was she was the *PERFECT* screwball foil for Dexter, but who else can elicit uproarious laughter when singing "Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen" in an artificially deepened voice on the one hand, while *SINCERELY* tugging at the viewer's heartstrings when repeatedly singing the line "Don't be silly, I love you very much!!" to put things in perspective for her annoyed brother in the episode which musically depicts Dexter's birth? :)
I think Dee Dee was handled infinitely better than say, Harley Quinn from the 90s Batman cartoons, who had a scrumptious and promising start, but degenerated into a psychotically one-note piece of shtick that was repeatedly thumped on viewers' heads without warrant.

I can't name just one favorite so i'll name my top 3
(Not in any order):
1. Jake from Adventure Time
because I think he has a really good voice actor, hes funny and I like how he can pretty much turn into anything he wants.
2. Rex
okay, I know the show isn't out yet, but I like him already. I think his powers are just very original and unique.
3. Shintzel
I really like his character design and he can be really funny sometimes too.
So those are my fav characters but overall my favorite show is Ben 10 AF.

1. Finn from Adventure Time with Finn and Jake. I like how he wants to do things and not just sit them out. You gotta dance, not sit out! I also like his attire/clothing. His hat is just....awesome.
2. Double D from Ed Edd 'n Eddy. His personality and character so represents me. He's innocent and he can have fun! The thing that made me mad was that Edd was innocent but still gets in trouble so seeing him be friends with the other kids in Big Picture Show made my day.
3. Coop from Megas XLR. This dude just made me want to smash stuff lol. He has that cool personality to him and I wish I had a friend like that in real life. Jamie also, they would be my buddies, we would've been like Ed Edd n Eddy robot style. I also want a giant robot :p

My favorite characters roaming around Cartoon Network currently would have to be Ben 10, Gwen, Shnitzel, Chowder, King Nood, Spectra, Dan Kusso, Mira, Kaz, Peyton, Yusie, Garfield, Batman, Tom & Jerry and Chaor. I chose not to choose only CN properties, if it's on the network it's on the network in my eyes and all of the characters mentioned in this post I look forward to seeing on a daily basis. This is my current favorite crop of characters since 2005-2006 when I loved Toonami and 1994-1995 in CN's "golden age" of programming, but if I had to chose one solitary character to be the one character I look forward to seeing on a daily or weekly basis, it would be the cast of Alien Force, I guess I'm just a mark for the show.

Him - The Powerpuff Girls - I like his colorful demeanor and the fact that's he's the most feared character on the show. Of course he slowly became just another villain after that Beat-Alls episode but I won't get into that.
The Red Guy - Cow & Chicken - I like his color demeanor and how he antagonizes everyone from Cow to Baboon. He deserves his own show really.
Fred Fredbruger - Billy & Mandy - Fred Fredburger .aka. one of the best animated characters ever! He only starred in like 2 episodes yet he has a nice little cult following. Kinda like Iggins from Invader Zim.
Mike - Mike, Lu & Og - This is probably because I've been thinking about Nika Futterman lately but I love Mike's character although she does try to introduce the Natives to modern things too often which turns out bad sometimes.
Katz - Courage the Cowardly Dog - Is it weird that I'm choosing a lot of villains? He's cool, calm and destructive. I especially like when he got a group of Courage's villains together to take Courage down. Or maybe it was a unanimous decision, either way he was clearly the leader.
Coop - Megas XLR - In no way can you get mad at him. If you were his age (which I think is in the 20's) and was just a slacker/gamer living in your mom's basement, wouldn't you have fun with a giant robot?

No particular order
1. JL/U's Batman/Old Bruce Wayne BB (are they really different characters?)- Impecable voice acting by Kevin Conroy, as Bats he was definitly the best character on JL and was awesome on BB especially the crossover "A Once and Future Thing" where old Bruce has to be retrained by young Bruce from beating answers out of a criminal. Singing "Am I Blue?" was just epic.
2. Ed, Ed Edd and Eddy- Hilarious character with omega strength and is made of pure awesomeness. Random shouting of things like "Gravy!" and his love f chickens make him a favorite.
3. Aquaman, Batman the Brave and the Bold- Also hilarious with his titling of adventures, and is actually a good fighter unlike superfriends aquaman.

Dexter himself from Dexters Lab-I guess I liked how much confidence he had and was soo smart where he could make any invention for when he needed it. His rivalry with Mandark is always a hoot too and I enjoyed all his adventures and he had an intresting kind of humor.
Number 1, from Kids Next Door-I tend like the more confident characters, he may not be the funny one of the group but he can kick butt and is very smart when it comes to missions and can be crazy brave.
Double D, from Ed, Edd n Eddy-One of the few characters that is a bit more sensitive, he's sweet, the smartest one of his friends and as the show grew so did he. I loved how any time Eddy gave him crap, Double D gave it back but in a sarcastic way.
Mojo, from The PowerPuff Girls-He cracked me up, had the best lines and still could fight and still pretty smart. I normally loved adventures that involved him.
Ben from Ben 10/AF-I love his aliens and I love how much he's changed in AF, still has humor and is more confident and mature. In Ben 10, he was just funny and can kick butt in both series.
Shaggy from Scooby-Doo-What's not to love about the guy? He's a very funny character, the only one other than Scooby that can make me crack up. Plus, I love his friendship with Scooby, its my favorite part of the series.

Finn: >>Same as Mr. Freeze's Response.<<
Chowder: Dude. He is soooo funny. He also eats anything like junk food and healty food. Sometimes.
Eddy: Well, He likes rich things and needs to have 25cents to have a jawbreaker.

I also want to discuss my other favorite CN character: Edd (or should I say Double D). I admire his personality, especially the fact that he is a no-nonsense neat freak and strives to get things in an orderly fashion. I'm pretty much like him; that's why he's one of my favorite cartoon characters.

My most favorite Cartoon Network characters are:
The Heroes & Supporting Characters:
Cow & Chicken/Cow & Chicken's parents/Flem & Earl/the Teacher/I Am Weasel(Cow & Chicken) - They were great hilarious characters along with their wacky antics & Cow/Chicken's love for pork butts & taters, hahahahaha:p:D.
Courage/Muriel/the Computer/Dr.Vindaloo/Bigfoot/the Hunchback/the Alien Duck Brothers/Courage's parents/Kitty & Bunny(Courage the Cowardly Dog) - All of them were awesome characters & Courage was my favorite best dog character who's one of the punching bag characters I feel sorry for his many bashings from Eustace & the villains.
Ed, Edd, & Eddy/Jimmy/Jonny & Plank/Rolf/Nazz(Ed, Edd, & Eddy) - They were great interesting characters as much as I feel sorry for Edd being the punching bag of the show & Ed's wacky random sayings are so hilarious, hahahahaha.
Samurai Jack(Samurai Jack) - The most awesome kickbutt samurai hero ever rivaling my other favorites, Kenshin, Goemon, & Mugen, hehehe.
Chowder/Kimchi/Mung Daal/Truffles/Shnitzel/Gazpacho/Panini/Pate/Ceviche/Chestnut/Mr.Fugu & the creepy cat/Limon(Chowder) - All of them are cool/wacky hilarious characters which poor Shnitzel's abuse, Gazpacho's silly antics, Panini's psychoness, & Mr.Fugu's selfishness cracks me up, hahahaha.Limon voiced by Steven Blum was such an awesome new character.
Finn & Jake/Marceline/Princess Bubblegum/Lady Rainicorn/Lumpy Space Princess/Tree Trunks/Mannish Man(Adventure Time With Finn & Jake) - They are funny awesome new characters which Marceline is one cool/hot vampire queen & both Princess Bubblegum & Lady Rainicorn are cute/funny.Tree Trunks' death made me sad though.
The Villains:
Mandark/Quackor the Fowl/Olga Astronomonov(Lalavava)/the 3 dodgeball bullies/the security captain/Ultrabot 2000/the paperboy ninjas/Yanni the janitor/Redeye(Dexter's Laboratory) - They were great funny villains & while Mandark, his sister Olga(Lalavava), & Yanni make great arch-rivals for Dexter & Dee Dee which Yanni's grudge against Dexter makes me feel sorry for him, & cool that the security captain of Chubby Cheese was the first villain to know about Dexter's inventions.I'm sad that Quackor the Fowl, Mandark's sister Olga(Lalavava), the security captain, the cute paperboy ninjas, Yanni the janitor, & Redeye voiced by the epic Jim Cummings didn't get more appearances:(.
Mojo Jojo/Fuzzy Lumpkins/The Amoeba Boys:Bossman,Junior,& Slim/Sedusa/Roach Coach/the three bankrobbers/Him/The Gangreen Gang/the Boogie Man/Mitchell "Mitch" Mitchelson/the Cat/Mr.Mime/The Rowdyruff Boys:Brick,Boomer,& Butch/Princess/Lenny/the Smith Family:Harold,Maryanne,Julie,& Bud/Femme Fatale/the Powerpunk Girls & Oppressor Plutonium(The Powerpuff Girls) - The most awesome supervillains ever which they're funny/evil at the sametime, but I feel sorry for the Amoeba Boys though which they're not really evil, just funny idiots, hehehe.
General Specific/Lisa Rental/General Lee Outrageous(Sheep In The Big City) - They were great funny villains in that awesome hilarious show which I miss it.
Mandy/Eris/Nergal/Mindy/Spurg/Evil Billy/Boogieman/Bowling Pinhead(The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy) - All of them were awesome funny villains, but Mandy is one evil/sadistic demonic brat on the evil brat levels of Angelica/Eric Cartman/the early Stewie Griffin, which she was great for being evil, but her just desserts were great as well for bullying poor Billy/the Grim Reaper.
Aku(Samurai Jack) - He's awesome, sadistic, & funny, but such an amazing villain with a cool design.
Master Cyclonis/The Dark Ace/Repton/Carver/Captain Scabulous/the Colonel/Mr.Moss/I.J. Domiwick/Gundstaff/The Night Crawlers(Storm Hawks) - All of them were awesome CGI villains & Master Cyclonis was a fantastic scary villainess to the levels of the awesome Magica De Spell/Shego/Princess Azula, hehehe.
Ms.Endive/Gorgonzola/Reuben/the Puckerberry Overlords/Stilten/the Lead Farfel/Gumbo/Peking Duck(Chowder) - They were wacky/silly villains that were the most interesting especially Ms.Endive/Gorgonzola's chemistries with Chowder & Mung, but I'm sad that Gumbo the ex-chef apprentice didn't make a return, he was cool.
The Ice King/the creepy businessmen/the evil pixies/Ricardio the Heart Guy/Tiffany(Adventure Time With Finn & Jake) - They were awesome funny villains which the Ice King is cool/funny voiced by Tom Kenny:D, but I feel sorry for him though.Scary that Ricardio was the first dark/nasty/psychopathic villain to kill poor Princess Bubblegum with a broken bottle which freaked me out!!!!!!
White Knight/Van Kleiss/Circe(Generator Rex) - They were so cool/interesting which Van is one awesome/creepy Orochimaru-like immortal mad scientist villain voiced by the epic Troy Baker & Circe is one great sexy villainess to be Rex's girlfriend reminding me of Catwoman/Melanie(Ten)/Terra's relationships with Batman/Batman(Terry)/Beast Boy, hehehe.I get a feeling White Knight is gonna become a major threat than Van Kleiss though!!!!!

Marceline/The Ice King/the creepy businessmen/the evil pixies/Ricardio the Heart Guy/Tiffany(Adventure Time With Finn & Jake) - They were awesome funny villains which Marceline is one cool/hot vampire queen & the Ice King is cool:D, but I feel sorry for him though.Scary that Ricardio was the first dark/nasty/psychopathic villain to kill poor Princess Bubblegum with a broken bottle which freaked me out!!!!!!
Marceline isn't a villain, neither were the businessmen from "Business Time".
Also, I think it's kind of curious how so many people are already listing characters from Adventure Time as their favorite Cartoon Network characters when the series hasn't even been on for 2 whole months yet. No show that just premiered can be considered top anything, IMO.
Here's my list. There aren't any AT characters on it simply because the show is too new. It has to settle in and find it's legs before I can declare anybody on it my favorite characters. Maybe after a complete season or 2.
Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy: (I count group characters as one) This wild and wacky trio of cul-de-sac kids: Eddy the money-mad con man, Edd the fragile intellectual neat-freak and Ed the giant lummox happily immersed in his own little world never fail to amuse. I was happy to see the Eds finally get the respect and admiration of the other kids in the series finale.
The Powerpuff Girls: (see above) a unique and eye-grabbing concept-little girls with awesome superpowers. The trio of Blossom the smart but somewhat self-infatuated leader, Bubbles the adorable ditz and the only girl who acts like the 5-year-old she is and Buttercup the canny, brutally frank loose cannon made for a nice mix. While the PPG episodes began to sour after the movie, the Girls themselves were always engaging.
Coop, Kiva and Jamie from Megas XLR: Another favorite main character combo of mine. Coop the fun-loving, devoted but destructive slacker, Jamie, his snide pal with an eye for the ladies and Kiva, the tough-as-nails girl from the future who tries to keep these guys in line, made for some entertaining night-out-with-the-guys mayhem--giant robot style.
Chowder and Mung Daal: The silly, bumbling food-loving apprentice and his narcissistic chef master. While their characters ebbed and flowed in quality as the seasons progressed, at their essence they were always good characters. the fact that Mung was originally going to be a wizard makes him that much cooler to me.
-These are 3rd party characters, but nonetheless I'd like to give honorable mention to:
Susan and Mary Test: I love these 2. Yes, they were partially inspired by Dexter from Dexter's Lab, but the twins manage to do the child genius shtick without falling into perpetual butt-monkey territory like Dex often did. Plus, they're super-cute. I've said this before, but I really wish Susan and Mary could headline the show instead of Johnny.
Dukey: Another favorite Johnny Test character of mine. I often find myself identifying with Dukey's role in the show as the pragmatic voice of reason. Dukey's much more appealing a character than his master, ironically.

Johnny 2X4 - Hilarious weirdo who always gets his head stuck in trees and has a piece of wood as a best friend.
World - He was a really interesting character. Very misunderstood and pretty psychotic, but you try being isolated for years and see if you don't go crazy. It's too bad he never made any appearances outside of the movie.

Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory and The Powerpuff Girls are probably my favorite! As well as Courage and Jack from Samurai Jack. There were a lot of great characters all those years ago...:(

Can we say ones that used to be on CN too? Like The Secret Saturdays? Cause Doyle Blackwell is one of my favoritest characters ever. I just like his personality. There's no real reason, I guess I'm just a sucker for the bad good guys, or the good bad guys. Because Leonidas Van Rook quickly became on of my faves in the last season of TSS. And then in both Ben Ten: AF and Ben Ten: UA, Kevin's got to be my favorite character. For the same reason. Classic Bad Good Guy.
I am quickly falling in love with both Rex and Noah from Generator Rex. They are cool teens trying to do the right thing in the world. But I don't think neither one of them is really sure how to do that. And as far as cartoon characters go, they both are quite nice looking boys.
Pierce from Ben Ten: AF is a favorite of mine too. He's a strong leader while still trying to be a team player. He had a lot of qualities that reminds me of myself.
Okay, I'll stop here. I could keep going, but I won't. The above are my favorite right off the top of my head.

My faves are Rex from Generator Rex, which, by the way, is now my new fave show of ANY network. He's very human, and that's unusual in an action hero-type.
Dukey from Johnny Test. He's funny and good hearted. Smart too.
Kevin from Ben 10. I like his attitude.
Chowder, sometimes. When he isn't too stupid. I saw the episode about the apprentice games today, and the way he and Gazpacho bickered with each other was hilarious. Chowder is better when his dumbness doesn't really hurt anybody.
That is all.

Kevin from Ben 10. I like his attitude.
I'm assuming you mean from "Ben 10: Alien Force/Ultimate Alien". Kevin 11's attitude in the original "Ben 10" show was...not very likeable, to say the least.
I saw the episode about the apprentice games today, and the way he and Gazpacho bickered with each other was hilarious.
You mean Gorganzola, not Gazpacho.
