I recently bought an iPod Touch and have been using some great apps. Tunein Radio which I bought yesterday is a must have for radio lovers since AM and FM isn't included on an iPod Touch. Before I bought I checked out the app online and its website has a section to tell you stations you can stream (http://www.tunein-radio.com/stations.html). Another app I've been enjoying is Tap Tap Revenge which is similar to Guitar Hero and Rock Band but you use your fingers.

What apps are you enjoying? Don't other companies have apps for their phones/mp3 players? If so talk about those if you don't have an Apple product.

If you like Twitter I would recommend the Echofon application.
If you go on Skype frequently I'd recommend the Skype app. These two aren't
"must haves" but they can be pretty convenient.

If you are a fan of The Colbert Report than The Word app is a must have. It has segments that date back to the series beginning.

Canonbalt is another fun game to have but a little pricey but it may be worth it. This is it's official site (http://canabalt.com/) that will let you try it out.

Alpha Runner is pretty fun but only two levels for it are available.
If you enjoy Rock Band or Guitar Hero than the Rock Band will be fun for you.

Music Pad is also another great and fun app.

Dark Horse Comics has put some of their Star Wars comics in app form and I've been loving that.
I also purchased the GTA: Chinatown Wars application. It's exactly like the DS and PSP versions. Driving around and walking does take some getting used to.
I play Scrabble and Towerbloxx on occasion and The Sims 3 every once in awhile.

This may be a little bit strange but can anyone tell me what other Apps Itouch has? All I keep hearing is how great the I-phone Apps are.

Any app that can be downloaded on an iPhone can also be downloaded for an iPod Touch. They both link to the iTunes app store.

Obvious downside: Some apps are made specifically for an iPhone. You can download it on an iPod touch but you can't use it.

Speaking of this, does the YouTube app really not need WiFi? That's what I've heard.

I just got an iPod touch as well and I've been looking up apps ever since.

There's an ALL-IN-1 Gamebox which currently has 26 games (and new ones are added every few weeks) for only 99 cents total -- not 99 cents per game, but the FULL package. And these are actual good games from what I've played so far. This is an absolute must-have for anyone who wants both quality and affordability in their iPhone/iPod touch gaming.

I also have to second the TuneIn Radio recommendation. For just $1.99 you get access to basically every radio station in the world with tons of features. Just wow.

Ovenbreak (http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/ovenbreak-free/id329454572?mt=8) and tapups (http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/tapups/id288317563?mt=8) are fun apps to past the time, Bejewled (http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/id284832142?mt=8) & Tetris (http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/id284800458?mt=8) are both (obviously) good as well. Shazam (http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/shazam-red/id341382680?mt=8) is great for identifying songs you hear on the radio.

Oh and if you have iTunes I recommend their free remote (http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/remote/id284417350?mt=8).
