View Full Version : Do newer DVDs of Adult Swim shows remove the bleeps?

I haven't bought any recent DVD sets of the Adult Swim original shows (those made by Williams Street), but are they uncensored as far as language? The older sets of ATHF for example had swearing covered up by bleeps and random sound effects like on the broadcasts.

I know the Venture Bros Season 3 DVD set had the bleeps removed but I don't know if the in-house WS shows have uncensored versions made now as well.

Also, are the episodes on the Build-Your-Own-Custom-DVD page on the official site uncensored? Does this include other episodes that were previously on DVD in censored editions?

Well actually, Robot Chicken Season 2 is uncensored, because for the DVD release, they did remove the bleeps.

Robot Chicken Seasons 3 and 4 also removed the bleeps on the DVD release. Season 1's DVD release, though, only removed bleeps for the words "christ" and "jesus."

I think most AS releases these days are uncensored. In stores, they usually have a large "uncensored" sticker on the packaging.
