Like Vince said, the ratings for Yu Yu Hakusho show that younger kids are watching Adult Swim, or at least ASA. But then again, it's on Saturday night right after Batman Beyond, and it's not that late either.

yes..children are watching ASA. but children are also watching south park and getting pr0n off of the internet. some things never change.

and i wonder why they didn't replace kenny with tweak. tweak is much cooler than butters. he gets coffee. coffee good.

I let my 3-year-old daughter watch ASC and she LOVES it!They have a lot of the Disney-type of humor, where on one level, only (mostly) adults get it, but they also have then slapstick stuff that anyone can laugh at.

For the record, Kenny CAN'T be replaced, so the argument on who should replace him is moot. He'll be back though (a little inside info ;) ).

What I really want to see is more of Jimbo and Ned. They haven't been on the show very much at all since the second season. I have no i idea why, they were the funniest characters on the show.

I am so disappointed with Butters replacing Kenny, but at least the South Park guys are playing around with it.

I am sure Kenny will be back. Plot holes are the South Park way.

i deft thinks kids watch adult swim just for the fact they are the only ones who know about it......... to know bout adult swim you have to watch cartoon network i've never seen any commercials for adult swim on other networks if they want to attract adults they should throw ads on other turner networks and draw them in that way and show them its something different like the ad that for yu yu where he says i'm going to kick your a!! and bebop ads so they realize they aren't kiddy shows a lot of my freinds start watching adult swim after i describe the shows and they're like whoa what time is that on

I know for a fact that kids watch AS, Me(20) and my little sister(7) are both fans of Yu Yu Hakusho and Cowboy Bebop, and Pilot Candidate, she would like Gundam, but its on a bit past her bedtime. Personally no one in my family sees anything wrong with ASA. Its on on saturdays, so no bedtimes are really necessary and there is MUCH worse stuff on the regular channels at earlier times.

Personally, I've always thought Adult Swim (comedy and action) was more for teenagers than adults.

I'm also sure that many children watch AS (once again, comedy and action). Probably action more than comedy, just because anime's cool. :D

I'm one of the thousands of kids watching Adult Swim and South Park! I find them hilarious even though they're meant for adults. Todays my birthday,too! He he...I just had to say that!

I'm 16, I watch mostly ASA because it has Gundam 0083, which I am been waiting to watch since GW premiered... I watch PC, sometimes YYH because my father is watching tv, and CB from the old times which I recorded... :D

I don't watch Tenchi and OS because they are late and I have seen them already...

I agree ASA is more for teenagers... Even my school teachers watch it who are 25 and 23. They're new...

Well i agree that ASA is more for teens. Sadly i've heard that some 5 year olds watch it. Well you don't have to worry about me. I'm almost 15 and really my parents don't care if they are just Cartoons. :D From what i've seen of ASA it's not really that bad. the thing that gets me is the kids staying up till 2am. One of the worst things is baby-sitting a kid that is 8 or younger when they've had a few hours of sleep. :p

Well, the funny thing is, as long as it's animated, kids will watch it. Like it or not, just as animation turns off 95% of adults, the reverse is true for kids. They'll watch anything animated. Stuff that they wouldn't care about in live action. Let me put it this way: Kids would watch Schindlers List if it was animated. It's just something that can't be overcome- kids automatically flock to any cartoon and there's just nothing that can be done about it. It's simply impossible to overcome I think.

The kids watch Adult Swim is because they are not suppose to, it's an old story of reverse phycolagy. Remember when your mom and/or dad rented a movie, but told you not to watch it because you were to young to see the stuff on it and when they went to bed, you got up, went to the TV, turned down the volume, and watched it anyway and it was just because your parents say you couldn't? And remeber the time at the theators you sneeked into the room playing the film with R rating because it was the R that made you want to see it?

It's simple why kids watch AS, because they are told not to. They always want what adults try to keep them from seeing.

ASA is the greatest! I have a hard time falling asleep and usually fall asleep around 2-3 am (It is killing my GPA though...) Doctor still hasnt figured out a way to help me get to sleep. Until then, Adult Swim all the way!
