After Batman & Superman, wouldn't Green Lantern be next in line for his own series. It seems like he would have enough of a background and supporting cast to justify a solo series.
I've seen some sites in the past w/ fanfic and character sketches.
And please, don't let this become a string of John/Kyle/Hal resets.
A GL vs. Lobo story would've been neat.
That I know, there's
Sinestro
the Manhunters
Parallax
Star Sapphire
Dr. Polaris (a GL villain, yes?)
Jade (allie)
the Guardians
the whole GL Corps, a diversified lot
crossover villains like Brainiac would've been cool.
Perhaps in the future.

Would be cool but I don't think that John Stewart has enough personality to be a main character. Would have to be someone else.

I think if they did do it, they would have to go back to where it all began on earth with Alan Scott. Then they could segue to like the sixties or seventies era with Hal Jordan, then to Abin Sur for the seventies or eighties, and finally the big paradox, Kyle or John. Actually, if they don't touch upon Kyle in JL then a series could explain what happened to him in an origin movie.

Freezie, I most definitely disagree, and I'm not disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing or because I'm obviously a bigger fan of GL than WW...
But Wonder Woman simply does not have the cast or the potential in story lines to support her own animated series. Her enemies are evil Gods, and her supporting cast is Gods, her mother, possibly Donna Troy... who else? Certainly not characters accessible enough to make interesting for both adults and younger adults as is the case with GL. GL encompasses all races and nationalities, represented by the many differents species of beings that comprise the Lantern Corps. And the idea of an intergallatic police force is just more interesting, in the respect they're in space, and there are cosmic, universal threats... GL would lend itself much more easily to an animated series than WW.

For the record, John, I've had this title for months longer than you ;)
Bruce Timm could make a WW:TAS, yes, but it would bomb. WW is just not interest enough a character and does not have a well enough established supporting cast or rogues gallery to make the show worthwhile.

That's true, but SOMETHING is still keeping her going that's for sure! :p The modern day character designers sure had a field day with her too. I was looking through an old Batman comic with a little blurb promoting her. She looked incredibly gorgeous! And they DREW that! lol.
From the sound of the thread I don't think you more serious GL fans will agree with me, but I think a GL animated series would be a perfect opertunity to show viewers each individual GL personality. Get some killer writers on the roster and you could use them to set up a GL blueprint. That way, when viewers look back and see Superman's "In Brightest Day" and see Kyle there, they'll know exactly what's up: who he is, what he's like, all the goodies. Seeing John in Justice League can be another example.
And continuities wouldn't have to match for the most part (like John and JL) if any kind of complications arose.

Yeah this would definately stop the Kyle, Hal, John debates because if there was a series they could all be regulars!
A GL series would be pretty cool, but sometimes when they get all out in space all the time I lose interest. I like stuff like Superman where you can tell all kinds of stories both close to and far away from home so I'd want the GLs to be dealing with Earth stuff a nice enough portion of the time... and of course Mystic stuff too. As long as it's well rounded i'd love it... (Plus any chance to see Kyle again!)

Pre-Crisis variety:
Supporting cast: Steve Trevor and Etta Candy (and possibly also the Holiday Girls). Also, other military officials.
Villains: Angle Man (the man with all the angles), Dr. Cyber, Cheetah, Dr. Psycho, Silver Swan, Duke of Deception (okay, technically, a god-type), among others (including various gods)
Miscellaneous other characters: Nubia
Post-Crisis variety:
Supporting Cast: Julia Katapelis and her daughter Vanessa. Or use the Sandsmarks instead.
Villains: most of the same as above, plus Circe (technically was a pre-Crisis villain, but wasn't as major) and with Ares as an occasional major villain.
I think a good WW animated series could be made, but it would need to be a B:TAS-style series, focusing on character's motivations and personalities, rather than a Batman Beyond/JL type series, focusing on who can beat up who.
Furthermore, I think a lot of the appeal of GL would be his outer space antics, which might make him seem less grounded (if that were the focus of a GL animated series) than WW. Just my opinion.

i would like to see either one of them made. i have to agree
that it appears that a gl:tas has more well rounded history
to draw from, but with the same breath i would have to say
that ww:tas could be done well by BT & co.
and the only reason that gl has a more detailed history is that
there were so many gl's & the corps and villains. ww never really
had a great rogue's gallery which is a shame. shame on dc.
she is one of their oldest characters.
